Saw "Death at a Funeral" today...

It wasn't as funny as I was expecting it to be - It was rather slow paced, but,
when it was funny it was hilarious. I think it's because the jokes weren't crammed
in, but they were well paced and the story built quite well - you got a good
snapshot of a whole family and the myriad of characters that comprise of
a normal family.

I saw Pulp Fiction for the first time ever about two weeks ago. It was a very good movie until Bruce Willis showed up. I hate that guy; I have no idea why, but I do. There was a loving-type scene with him in it, and I thought that was unnecessary. Maybe it's because he's bald.

Yeah I enjoyed it, if you like epic action scenes and corny quotes then you will love it lol

Story isn't great, it kinda reminded me of the last Rambo film that came out

I just finished watching this and The Girl with Dragon tattoo. And I have to say... maybe its because its been about 5 or 6 years since I watched TV or regularly watched recent made movies, but have they always been so gay? Like homosexually based, its kind of like the last couple of movies I've seen have been 'overboard' with the need to forcefully make itself known or placed in the plot. I re-watched Gonin, it has been like 6 years since I saw it with barely any interest and I never finished it, and I didn't even remember the amount of gay scenes it had, I picked it up and it really was like 'Ahh, what the fuck?! Not this again.' kind of an event.

In fact, I stopped watching the last season of Sopranos, the last series I kind of followed weekly, because of that.

Anyhow, I have to finish these two tomorrow, I know the voice acting in Daunte sucked but the production value in the art was well worth it. And the Gotham Knight had its moments, too. The Animation styles contrast but blend well with the stories told in both, overall I was impressed. The same can't be said about either movies above.

Any cool film Noir recommendations? I haven't a good one in years.

watch momento or L.A confidential, they're pretty good. technically momento's more of a thriller but it's still one to watch
