If you've ever listened to any of Dubba Jonny's remixes you'll understand that he's worse than Mt Eden....which is an incredibly difficult position to obtain

haha htats great, but instead it should say, "while good producers are experimenting with sound and arrangement you can create another mindless, boring "dubstep" song by following these instructions. first..."

this woud have been a good image for him to use on the clip

I hear arrangement.

Since when does that make it good?

I'm a musician too. But in the world of electronic music you've gotta be just as good with sound as you are with notes and rhythm.

...not that the notes and rhythm and arrangement of that tune are any good

Never said that makes it good. I don't mind if you think it's shit or whatever. But if someone's going to imply there's no arrangement (Which I happen to think is interesting in this tune) that's just ignorant.
As for sound, there's like 10 different synths going on that are all in the same musical palette, which I love to hear, but I can see why someone might think they're too generic or whatever and that's fine. If you ask me, It's hypocritical because Loefah, Coki, mala etc who make all those real subby tracks everyone loves are using extremely similar sub basses. I mean come on, there's only so many ways to make a very low end bass. That being said, it's all about the music and I love those tracks too.

Haters hate, but it's obvious that there was a certain level of production in arrangement in this track. It's meant to be a "tutorial" but it's far from simple as far as those synths are concerned IMO

btw, this is the only dubba johnny track I can listen to.

thank god for this video, now i know how to make generic wobble crap, just like the other 340000 viewers.

glad someone's put limitations on what dubstep is, this is exactly what was needed. as creativity is killing the scene. :t:
