i'm still in shock about the 16bit tune, couldn't smell anything new apart from snare and bubbling water..

Hmm, just found this thread. interesting.

ive taken a tiny ass bit from a datsik and Bar 9 bass but i only used it as a waveform to use in 3xosc. then i add efects and it was nothing like the original. i dont really do that anymore though. i use zeta+ mostly.

anyway, what the guy in the original posts did was obviously just taking a sample of the bass and doing nothing to it. thats pretty shitty IMO.

also, what about this song? I swear ive heard that bass elswhere.


theres also a song by Project midnight call bong. it uses the bass from eastern jam. confuses me.

how do you sample a bassline without the drums being heard.... is it just EQing..

I've never looked at sampling from other artists.
