I'm downloading quite a lot of mixes here but i never found something "similar" to this mix : DJINN - THE ART OF WAR (June 09) mix
I don't know what kind of ***step it is, but if you know something that sounds like that, let me know !

1> There are no dubstep subgenres. Its all just dubstep. Especially what you linked. Thats just regular old dubstep. Im not surprised you have a hard time finding people who play that kinda stuff though.
2> try searching the mixes forum for artists on the tracklist. Youll find very similar vibes if you look for people playing similar tunes.

Mix stereo representing two ears on his head. If An y one have heard a mono dub step , We will notice that there is little depth to the recording, So It is look like similar to the mono dub step.

Hard for me to say.... but i like it cuz it's sober, simple, clean and kind "dark".....
