DONT CHECK "Log me on automatically each visit" box when you log in.
i don't know why but i can't enable "Allow automatic logins" in Administration Panel
but i'm working on it...

As far as I know there is no "allow automatic login" in the admin panel. This may be a database transfer problem.
I have a phpbb and checked out the configuration of mine and couldn't find it. It is supposed to just work if you checked it.

actually it may be a cookies problem.
on my board it is set to
Cookie domain - Blank
Cookie name - "my domain name minus www and .com"
Cookie path - /
Cookie secure (If your server is running via SSL, set this to enabled, else leave as disabled) - disabled
Session length [ seconds ] - 3600

yeah.. it is database problem..
ppl from FP will fix it soon.. don't worry..
