Digital Tuner for DAW Instruments?
I was wondering if anyone knew of a digital tuner that i could have on my computer as like an application that could tell me the note of my intruments, mainly my drums so i can tune them to a specific note eg. C, D#, E etc...
Thanks,
oh and im running mac osx
which might make this a bit harder.

Don't worry about tuning drums to specific notes.
Tune them to sound good, and you're done.

sure i think all my drums sound good but i heard that a good tune of the drums can help boost feeling and smoothness.
i didnt really think that it would be much of a difference if (if any) but i thought "what the hell, why not?"

you could download reaper, load up the vst, and just tune them in theretreasondub wrote:oh man, i cant use that aye.

While they're fun to look at, they are only very, very rarely useful; I wouldn't worry about it.
