Actually this is what brought me back into vegetarian. I was in my Korean class and the korean teacher was like, we don't eat dogs, that's a STEREOTYPE....nicenice wrote:Do you know whats even more annoying, when people piss and moan about people from Asia eating cats and dogs.
...but we definitely eat the occassional cat.
And everyone tripped the fuck out like that was the most disgusting inhumane thing anyone could possibly do. But it's just as brutal as killing a pig or killing a cow, it's just that society accepts killing cows and pigs and doesn't accept killing and eating cats. And that got me to thinking that I wouldn't want to eat and kill a cat because it's brutal and cruel and unnecessary, so by that logic I shouldn't be desensitized by society into thinking that killing cows is ok, so I went vegetarian.
And when people talk about the food chain and how we were designed to eat animals, come on now, it's the 21st century. People with cancer are designed to die and people with bad vision are designed to have bad vision, BUT WE OVERCOME THAT SHIT NUKKA. Eating animals is no longer needed, in fact it's backwards. We use SOOOO much more food to feed and raise a cow than comes out of a cow, it's just super wasteful. PLUS driving by Cowschwitz whenever I wanna go north makes me a sad panda.
PS I always wanted a pet pig.
End Transmission.
