That mask did get some proper usage last night. Attached to Markle's head last night I kept thinking that it was something out the Ring with the twisty necked business. Lucky I was drug free or that would have done for me :D

Big big night!

Shouts to everyone I chilled with ms bourdain, deaps & Josephine, c4, whistla, ramadanman, metalbox, boomy, Unlikely et al. Had to leave early, bout 2.30 cos ikonika felt sick :(

Shouts to skream for the quickfire interview for ikonika's uni project.
Was too too packed, why didn't they open the second room? 3rd bass was cool though still. Best set for me was chef v l.d, in both rooms!! Roll on May

this was amazing - 10 hours of bass weight business which works out to only a quid an hour for a fucking quality rave!

only thing was how rammed it was then laggin in the middle of the night and there bein absolutely no place to cotch, must have sat down for all of five mins. but it was worth it - 50,000 watts MURDERED the dancefloor!

out to deci, heny, benga, grand, ramadanman, spooks, sharky, n-type, tronman and everyone else who was findin a space. to those i was meant to meet, it was too busy, but i trust you were havin the time of your fookin lives and that i'll bump into you soon!

I got chucked out about half 3 or 4 by some Polish douchebag bouncer (for doing absolutely fuck all I may add) but apart from that was a fucking brilliant night. Glad I brought my earplugs as well :)

shamefully my first dmz, but i think ramadanman worded it correctly...'epic'. the sense of respect and positivity in the building was over the top...seriously. out to everyone i chatted to/shook hands with/greeted, new heads and old, however briefly:

sabina (found you in the end  great to meet you at long last)
boomnoise, even though it was only for a second i saw your face a lot that night...just on other people's heads ;)
deapoh
heny g
tronman
farrah & decibella, you two were fucking soldiers, big up all the lights on skanking crew
mister messer
mala and pokes, great to see u both again, too much respect for you to actually communicate properly :D
8 bit boi + jah "LISTEN TO SUB FM" preacher ... cheers for the spliff, proper leg-ends
skream - big up mate, looking forward to this weekend massively
kromestar
ramadanman
markle
benga
misoh
dominic from leicester
errol
the soap'n'paper guy in the toilets was sound as fuck too, can't remember his name
tronman wrote:I TELL YOU WHAT THAT REMIX OF LIFT OFF BY MACABRE UNIT IS ABSOLUTELY HEAVY
i've been wanting to hear that soooooooooo much.....tune of the night...along with find my way...and 50,000 watts...and under mi sensi and so on etc

chef that first mix was shocking and completely unexpected, doubledropping flame into panik room - merciless, massive sets from all though. fucking furious i missed benny ill's set though.

VIBETRIBE GET YER TEEF OUT

shame i missed peeps like reso, shonky, MBP, LEQ (gutted you didnt reach mate), next time eh :)

how messy! me, militant and dowee bass-facing! ^^

one of the first in there, pretty much danced till 6 i just didnt wanna leave the dancefloor, miss a tune.
goin for a piss was an unwelcome chore

big ups to everyone i spoke to from all over the world
my legs are dead right now..

yeah 50,000 watts, Loefahs remix- fucking hell thought the roof was gonna come off the place! The Bug and FloDan remix got the dance fiya

Chef and LD merked from early, all the DJs played the bollocks, not really 1 bad set

the vibe was amazing aswell pure noise when tunes were getting dropped

ive got 2 cameras worth of fotos to sort later

and apologies for people expecting Macabre Unit CD's- issues with the burning of them and getting them to me meant i came empty handed.

Anyone reachin DubstepAfterHours on the 30th, we should have 2 bagfulls!

Another amazing DMZ, hype about the nex one already!

oh 1 thing- security- ruuuuuuuuuuude
my green got taken from me then the guy was chattin bout "do u know who i am, etc" and doin cut throat signs at me... meh nevermind

apologies to anyone who i ignored, i was fooked!

Just got home, overnight megabus is a beautiful way to travel.
Far too much daytime drinking almost did me in by the end of Mystikz, but a little sit down during Yunx & D1 saw me through to the end. Big up everyone else still dancing unflatteringly with the lights on. Except maybe that guy who's idea of dancing is to fall over and then get up again. He needs to chill out.
As per usual managed to chat with nobody, except ramadanman who said I looked like a zombie. Charming. I'm just an antisocial bastard I guess. Too busy skanking with my eyes closed.

Loved the fact that Loefah's 50k Watts Remix needed all the reloads, I seriously couldn't work out what was happening the first 3 times it dropped. Frist time especially when everyone went mental when the bass came in, and then it dropped in properly a few moments later. Kode9's first tune pretty much broke my mind too. Oh and some new tune by Pinch or Distance, I forget which of them played it. The V perhaps? Very minimal, just this fucking mental bass noise. 2D was sick as well.

Boomnoise mask was hilarious, Coki on the decks was crazy, 3rd Bass was nostalgic and it was great to have some grime. Was Plastician playing loads of Joker beats? Quite a few sounded like his stuff, but I didn't know the specific tunes. Haven't heard the stuff coming out on Terrorhythm though, so it was probably them.
