Label contacts for demos?

Post by pete_bubonic » Tue Mar 06, 2007 2:21 pm

I know this has been posted before but I can't search it for love nor money!

I have finally got my new demo cd nearly done and dusted after I got a couple off the old demo signed. I need to crack on with this next thing.

So I got hotflush, quiet storm and destructive, but I need more! Who would you recommend?

would be interesting to create a yellow pages of sorts for the dubstep scene - could list all things from labels and djs to promotion companies, booking agencies, radio stations, designers, magazines etc. It can only help.

My EP is about 95% done so any help on labels to send it to or anyone interested in putting it out would be a amssive help.

oh gonna be a bit before i get my shit going proper
heres my kinda offical copy paste from doa

yep finally time to announce it
when i get done with the darkland cd project that im in charge of and funding my label will be kicking off
vinyl and digi prolly cd releases too
tentative recordings
001 will be deadly habit - synesthesia ep
so far my orig and the dj ghost glitch hop one
possibly blal and theory remixes on flip
orig was slated for 002 but orig 001 plate feel thru when a tune i wanted got snagged by a digi label
002 should be hopefully saphir/icr split 12 inch
beyond that dunno
but this is gonna be a label more in planet mu vein catering to mutiple genres
vinyls released to public will be between 300-400 run but will always be avail in digi format probably flac and 320 mp3
i probably have a distro but debating on using em since i wanna keep this in a diy punkish root

http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.ph ... inyl+label

my aim is DeadlyHabitDnB which is gen online 24/7 and always on auto accept
dunno if people will be down with limited cash involved and limited pressings but figured i'd put it out here to people
