WigFlex last night...

Post by jamie » Sat Mar 10, 2007 1:57 pm

Big up all who repped for Distance last night, another sell out for us which can only be good! You know you're doin something right when people are rushing the bouncer trying to get in  If we keep up these kinda numbers over the next three nights (Max Cooper/Caspa/Chef) then me thinks its time for a bigger venue already....

Yh this was big still..

I was outside when man rushed the bouncer. They are on a boyting, didn't let my man in, kicked us out at the wigflex the month before too.

U know he come back 10 mins later with a top boy in Notts who was his uncle and said they're going to kill the bouncer. Those man do not ramp either.

That system in muse is quite big 2 u kno, pity about the needles. I was waiting 2 hear Crunked Up from longtime! I think I actually prefer wigflex 2 detonate nowdays, u man have got a good night goin on.
Might see me goin on safe and pally
Next day screw face, like how can he..

Yea hold tight the wigflex.

Last night was very big still. distance dropped some heavy tunes. Spam mashed it up sick. However The highlight of the night for me was Hizatron. When i go to a dub night i wana be hearing some new sounds.
Hiza's dubs were just too much. pure skanking man. Dirty Dirty. Everyone was feeling them. That jumpy 4x4 kina beat was off the chain.

Prob next time could be a good idea to do a ticket only thing as a few peps in there wernt even propper dubheads which didnt leave much space for the propper dub heads. maybe solve the whole door rushing thing.

Big respect to Spam and the rest of the click. You got the support of the DUBCAMP.

PEACE AND LOVE

Yeah the guy who was beefin with the bouncer is a good mate of ours, which is why he was so pissed off about not gettin in. He actually asked his uncle to just calm the situation down so he could get in - but as you heard, he err, didnt quite do that...We've put a request in for different door staff as the ones we seem to get are complete stnuc (This has nothing to do with the venue by the way, door staff are sent by the agency most of the time)

Switchin things up a bit next month with our easter special - WigFleggs Saturday 7th April with something a bit more on the dirty electro sides - Max Cooper, Tray Electric live, Fresh out of death & Spam Chop will be smashing it up.

safe, almost didnt get in, persistance works

would have fucking sucked if we didnt, got a load of mates up from all round for the occasion, from Birmingham to London to Nuneaton, I think a ticketed thing would be a safe idea, get the proper fans in and no dicks looking to ironically dance due to an article in the NME... ahem..although a ticket only thing (of course unless its sold out) might have an impact on general music nerds coming to check out the scene

It felt sweet last night, I was with a bunch of friends, some recently quite experience steppers and some first timers, all had a sick time, I got like 4 shoutouts for my birthday bash! that was sweet, Distance was good but Spamchop killed it, great mix of stuff, hit by hit!

the bouncers there were wierd to my girlfriend, she has a PASS id coz she doesnt drive or have a passport and they told her to get a proper driving license instead? I used to work a bar and I know they are 100% legit and government legistation, whats that all about!?

i wanna see the pics, i was bouncing up and down like a mad man, i bet i have some halirious facial expressions!

PS who stole my bottle of Brothers, bastards!

It's never a good thing when your head needs re-aligning like that mate...Glad you all had a good one, the ticketing does sound like a good idea but it all depends on how much they cost to print as I don't think its something we can get the venue to pay for like the flyers, might have to just get yoursens down early untill we move to a bigger venue later this year
