Its normally aimed at Hip Hop producers, but anything by Sonic Specialists is great.

Bit OT, but anyone know any good (free?) samplepacks with lo-fi, gritty drumhits. Good sounding bad quality samples

The only one I've really enjoyed using, and the one I use profusely, is thomas penton's percussion packs. Best drums I've heard of any packs. For any other samples, I don't bother. Gave up a while ago.

Urban Fire vol 1-5 sonic specialists. It's not technically free, but you know the drill.

You can make drums sounds gritty and lo-fi yourself with distortion and time stretching and resampling through low quality machines. That's truly free
