no one has a comment left?
come on forum people, this is a nice reggaestep tune, so give it a chance and drop a few words if you like it or not and maybe why if it's not too much...

nice tune man, my thoughts...

a lot of percussion, but i got used to it.

bass could go a bit more mental, maybe octave it up for drops and modulate it..

overall.. sweet track

I really like the vibe mate. Quantization on the organ/synth stabs seems to be a bit off. Might have been what you were going for though. When the vocal and the b-line are together it's running.

that's exactly what we were after. :D it has this certain live-feeling to it mainly because the synth is played live... we are not like machines, failure is a chance

thanx for anyone giving feedback! enjoying that a lot!

Nice tune man!

Quantization might be a bit too cracked up for nice mixes, but hell... F that! Sounds nice anyway...

Good for a bit more chilly sets, tho...

one...

nah, it still works with mixing. especially some bush chemists stepper dubs fit excellent, also does some shackleton (tried both :D)
and there's still a bassdrum on the 1 and a handclap on the 9 :)

of course just take whatever you want, that's why i've putted everything online. ;)

to be honest i haven't listened to call on jah name for months. i don't even know if i have a source file left, but i hope so... it was my very first track i have ever done, so from my today's perspective it sounds not so good, but a rework on that one would also be not the worst to do but on the other side i got some tunes right now that need to be finished...

do what you will,
the think i like the most about call on jah name is the faster bassline here and then, and the sounds of the drums (the snare/rim thing at the beginning)
