Here in Canada its almost standard for a mosh pit to break out at a dubstep show. I dont mind sometimes If Im wasted but Its not needed all the time. I used to go to lots of metal & punks shows so im used to it. But moshing to Breakage & Redlight seems rather odd. Borgore or Datsik not so much

i love a bit of moshing at a metal gig as much as anyone else. but on a night out, it annoys me so much i cannot even put into words.

i was at a drum and bass night last year at the warehouse project having a crackin time away with the fairies when, shock horror, the special guests turn out to be chase and status. WEAK! then they bring on plan B, WEAKER! then a mosh pit breaks out next to me. totally ruins the vibe.

LEARN TO DANCE CHILDREN!

breakage and redlight?! thats weird.

when will people learn that its a lot more 'badboy' to actually put in a little effort and learn some moves. when was the last time you heard a female say "wow, that guy is really cool, look how hard he can smash into people"?

each to their own, but just seems more like vibing music really

I can tell you exactly what the problem is!

Its all the mainstream dubsteppa's that have evolved from previous indie cigarettes thinking its acceptable!

haha yeah truesay! i tell you what does piss me off, where i live, we only have one club that really plays dubstep/drum and bass, and for some reason, the skinny jean wearing trendy folk have decided to make it theirs so they've started having 60's nights and 16+ indie events

i cannot understand why you think this is funny. Have you ever even looked at a dmz flyer? Spot on in my opinion, i think doing nothing but reacting to live music is definitely a way of shutting off the world and enjoying yourself at the same time.

I get what's he is saying though. And to be fair dances are supposed to encourage dancing aswell. Not shirtless men using music as an alibi to touch each other

My girlfriend at the time got stuck in a mosh pit at a dubstep gig and shes quite small so the stnuc didnt really notice her so i literally had to jump into the middle and carry her out, luckily im 6 foot 4 so i took her above the moshing like that episode of the simpsons where homer gets battered by reindeers while holding Bart up to save him...ive completely forgotten what i was talking about...its nearly christmas :D

I remember MC Bassman always used to say "When you're in the dance, have some manners and respect, don't go stepping on another man's toes".

Pokes' reaction at croydub when those topless brostep kids started moshing was jokes:

Then Mala dropped Anti-War Dub... lovely
