i usually just say "to each his/her own"... dance/meditate/whatever, it's all good w/ me... but moshing can and frequently does ruin the experience of the show for other people who end up being unwilling participants, and I can't abide that.

exaclty what I was thinking, its annoying most of the time but even more if you've got your girlfriend with you!

I went to c-y-n-t a couple of times and it was always terrible for it! sweaty people on other sweaty people's shoulders spilling their drinks.

Spilt lemonade + sweaty people = big sweaty mess for everyone!

cant help but feel that chase and status playing +14 gigs might of made this worse?

Mospits should not be allowed in dubstep, raving and skanking only. Really fucking pissed me off at reading.

haha yeah truesay! i tell you what does piss me off, where i live, we only have one club that really plays dubstep/drum and bass, and for some reason, the skinny jean wearing trendy folk have decided to make it theirs so they've started having 60's nights and 16+ indie events

fml
Would that club be Scy perchance? Big up the few people with a real music taste in this town :t:

afraid? i think you've missed the point somewhat
it's not scary at all... just inappropriate, if you want to have a mosh pit and stage dive etc then go to a metal show

If you want to mosh go to a hardcore show, there's plenty of that to see in Belgium.
You don't fucking mosh at a dubstep, that's rediculous, fucking stupid children.
Fortunately, the shows I go to don't seem to have to much of that. Select your nights I suppose.

Rave, Skank, brock, just stare at te ground the whole time : don't give a fuck. Moshing and dubstep is rediculous.

I get what's he is saying though. And to be fair dances are supposed to encourage dancing aswell. Not shirtless men using music as an alibi to touch each other

It's funny because luthervandub wrote 'mediate' instead of 'meditate'

I've been to a lot of metal/punk/hc shows in my time and there is obviously a place for it there and I agree with everyone else, dubstep shows are for chilling or brocking out in your own personal space and going off the vibes. I ain't anti-mosh/circle, just this isn't the scene for it.

The guy who mentioned the scene kids is right, they've moved from metalcore to dubstep as it new thing and taking their tough guy image with them. It's all about image.

It's generally only the scratchy stuff this happens with and I avoid that kind of rubbish. I get more problems with too many people in the same place and ended up being squashed amongst bare people which isn't bad if there's a catty with her tits pressed on you but otherwise it's annoying
