audio interface

Post by gh02 » Mon Sep 06, 2010 6:02 pm

reet... just bought a macbook pro, and seeing as I'm now fookin skint anyway, I might as well buy a new audio interface while I'm at it. There hasn't been an interface post up for a bit I don't think, so opinions appreciated.

I need to be able to connect a Roland TD8 kit to it (to trigger drum racks), using 5 pin DINs, with nil latency, and hopefully for <£250.

I can't wait to ditch/smash the Tascam 122L.... any ideas?

Edit: Presonus Firestudio Mobile looking favourite, with £1 to spare for a bag of chips

I've been looking at this http://www.dv247.com/computer-hardware/ ... ace--30382 Looks alright, it has separate headphones to the main outs and a 'monitor mix' nob so it's suitable for dj-ing right? Not trying to hi-jack here.
