16 Bit vs. Trolley Snatcha

Post by paperfortress » Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:54 pm

Hey guys!

So, I am super new to this forum (my first post!) and I just wanted to show you a song I made by literally laying 16 Bit's "In the death car (Vocal Mix)" on top of Trolley Snatcha's "We Rock the Forest." It came about when I opened up my browser and it refreshed all of my tabs and BAM, these two were playing at the same time on YouTube. All I did was put them on top of each other and hit play... and aside form a little volume control, this is what they sounded like over one another.

I am aware its mostly shite, but for a total mistake it does have some pretty sweet match-ups here and there!n Hope you enjoy it at least a little bit!

Cheers,
Stebs

Aw you are too kind... I unfortunately had the misconception that this was a dubstep forum filled with people who had a love for the genre. I thought I would share this with people because most of my friends don't really care for dubstep and I thought I would bring this into a community that actually cared. But alas, the first person I come in contact with here is the antithesis of my expectations. Glad to know that my love for the music, no matter how "childish" or "fucking useless" it may be, is appreciated by someone. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I like it. To me mixes are usually the start of one song blended into the end of another... not simply two ontop of each other. Tis interesting to listen to. ^^

DSF protip:
lurk moar, build up postcount on SNH, then post derisive comments on threads like this.

other than that, welcome to DSF, the largest community of douchey music-nerds on the planet!

I appreciate the comments guys, I honestly have a MASSIVE... let me repeat... MASSIVE love for dubstep. It has taken over my life and I can't get it out of my head. It's tough being around people who just really don't care for it. Hopefully you guys will be able to chat with me about this stuff. I am happy to be a part of this community, perhaps despite the "douchebaggery" that may ensue... it's frankly why I stopped using forums some years ago, but now I just let it slide.

Again, thanks for the comments and I apologize if I broke any rules or upset anyone.

Cheers
