Gutted I missed him but Joker and Funtcase were also playing at the same time, so I split my time between them two...

Sat next to him on the flight home, must admit had never heard of him before the festival. Seemed like a safe guy though I'll have to check out some of his 'famous' Youtube videos.

They should so release a CD pack of Outlook.
Yeah mate dubstep's cool. Kinda prefer tech house these days. Gnome sayin'

Yea was a real shame about the vibes on the Deep Medi boat party. I was on Tectonic one too and it was so sick being able to chill, go get a drink when you want or just have a little dance. The Deep Medi one just felt long after the hour wait and no booze.

Oh well apart from that I fell in love with the festival, big up everyone who managed to catch my set, the dungeon was sick! I think my favorite vibes were the beach party on the first day, sun was shining, everyone was down there having a dance to some old school jungle, great times!

Cannot believe how good Mungos Hi Fi sounded in Arena 2, perfect for the DMZ night. I would have more than happy to listen to Kryptic Minds for hours, some serious heads down, dark vibes from him!

Other things worth noting were how bait the undercover cops were "do you have any drugs to sell??" haha, the unholy amount of balloons left in the on site hostel on the tuesday morning, and of course that little black dog that was having it in most of the arenas!

Best festival I've ever been to and can't wait until next year!!

P.S. does anyone else think RSD looks a bit like Bill Bailey? :o

Except the bit where people got told to queue downstairs.
That was it for me really. The sound was good, but the queue and limits ruined the vibes for me. You were lucky in your guest area. They should have refunded oversold tickets the moment they found out. Or offered people tickets on alternative boats. And the most popular boat getting accidentally oversold? I'd best get on my tinfoil hat.

*RANT ALERT*
Also, I ended up surrounded by fucking numpties most of the time I was upstairs. Almost got shoved off the side of the boat when this silly little bint charged to the front and shoved me aside just as the boat rocked and I was in mid-hop. If I'd been sweatier, my glasses would definitely have flown off the boat. Then there was this annoying drunken bitch who was chatting at the top of her fucking voice (I was wearing earplugs AND right next to the sub and could still hear her) and kept gesticulating wildly and poking and elbowing me in the back for a good 15 minutes at least. Even after I'd grabbed her hands and told her to stop. Then there was this fucking idiot who kept jumping (badly) on to and off of the sub VIA THE FUCKING TRASH CAN FULL OF EMPTY CANS and kept knocking it into me. Then there was the idiot who kept fucking barking. He finally stopped after me and the guy next to me gave him several evil glares. Then there was the idiot girl who tried to get to her friend via the other side of the sub, ie off the side off the fucking boat, because she thought there was a passageway. Who proceeded to shout at me when I tried to stop her. Although to be fair she did apologise once she realised she would've fallen off the bloody boat. For the first time in recent memory I actually couldn't wait to leave a party.
:u: :u: :u:
*RANT END*

It was like an entire weekend's worth of fucking idiots compressed into 3 hours on a tiny floorspace no more than 1 metre across. On the plus side, I did manage to avoid idiots the rest of the time I was there.
HAAHA maybe i was better off stuck downstairs...i would have pushed someone overboard..as if a guy was barking!!
what they should have done when they knew it was oversold was limit the guestlist, after all everyone else paid for their tickets. what pissed people off even more is that guestlist bods were allowed to skip the queue, pretty unfair unless you were actually djing. we could have jumped in with our passes but queued up with everyone else for fear of getting lynched.
once upstairs the tunes were obviously amazing, but i couldnt fully enjoy it knowing that i couldnt get a drink/go for a piss or i would have to queue up again.also the layout was shit with the stairs slap bang infront of the booth, i couldnt be arsed to fight my way to the front. the pirate boat the last 2 years was tons better.
i think it was such a disappointment as well because the dmz/deep medi boat parties at the last 2 outlooks have been so incredible - no logistical problems and magical vibes, literally some of the best experiences of my life, so i was well excited for this one. also gutted that i missed most of sunday night at the fort for it. never mind! the rest of the festival was awesome 8)

:o Was he in Croatia when that happened? Thought I saw him around on Thursday. Hope he's ok.

RSD would still have been good to catch, his sets are always good. He got the proper boat party vibes going. I was sooooo happy when he dropped Naked MarioKart, it'd been banging around in my head for the last couple weeks.

 YES! This! I kept thinking that on the boat. Never crossed my mind before even though I'd seen him play before.

Nerp. I spent most of the festival with frenbentos and fc though. Bumped into Unlikely and Dubloke loads. Or rather, got picked up and carried around loads by Dubloke. Saw Ashley from across a boat a couple times.

Was alright, thought last year was better. My highlight... Sitting on the beach in a lounger for 5 hours in nothing more than my pants reading a book on my iPad until the setting sun hid beneath the waves. Then it was time to rave.
