Don't forget, the Croatian service mentality is different to the USA version of "enjoy your meal" or "have a nice day", plus it was the busiest that restaurant has been for 4 years, they did not know what to expect and were rushed off their feet. The grumpy waiter always had a laugh with me, maybe you needed to have a joke or two with him/them!

I did try but they were just genuinely rude. And they didn't know what to expect? They should of know we were all coming and get more staff on...simple as. If Croatian service mentality isn't to be simply friendly (which I got a plenty of other places I ate at) then I feel for them!! Still, great festival and the chicken burgers from the stall's were totally killer.

No, no one in Croatia knew what to expect. We had warned the campsite, the restaurant, everyone that 4000 people would coming to party in their town but they obvioisly did not take what we said seriously, the campsite cash machine ran out of cash on the first day, the campsite supermarket sold three pallets of vodka straight away, the restaurant was almost always full: They did not know how much British people spend on their holidays, they were unprepared. They will know next year!

I never heard a Croatian say a bad thing about anyone at the Festival, they all said, "..they are all so young, yes they like to drink but they are all so polite and friendly". In the middle of an economic recession we gave about 20000 Croatians living near to the Festival a much need boost to their income. They ALL desparately want us to come back next year, so I think their attitude might change when they have time to think about what has just happened to them. Isn't it good that you can have a fantastic time and help so many people at the same time?

Thank you to everyone who came and helped to create the friendly vibes!

It is a great thing and I wasn't saying anything bad about anyone other than the restaurant staff. Everyone else was lovely and extremely welcoming, I want to retire to Stinjan. Its beautiful. And I even said to my girlfriend that they must be making a mint and its nice to help the local community there.

But your right, hopefully they will be more prepared next year.

tectonic boat party... need i say more?

Highlights: Distance on friday night, DMZ of course, Kryptic (fucking) Minds, Bug & Flowdan, Gentlemens Dub Club absolutely smashed it (the dust was far too much though!), Kromestar was pure vibes, the drum and bass on friday night, Alix Perez, Commix, Sprectrasoul, Break, gutted distance and icicle clashed though! Spoke to icicle for a while before his set so felt even more guilty for missing it, proper safe guy. Gaslamp Killer was heavy, when he played all along the watchtower i nearly wet myself. D Bridge was also heavy, SP smashes it everytime.

Too many memories, too many good sets. Big up everyone involved.

On a side note though, i was there for a couple days after most people had left and the camp site was a fucking state, people need to have a bit more respect and clean their shit up. I heard someone trashed the toilets too, rubbed shit all over the walls and that. not about that at all, some people are just fucking stnuc, luckily at Outlook they are few and far between though...

Best week of my life, could not ask for a better birthday present ever haha!
Highlights were definitely: Sin City Boat party (larggge), Joker, N-type (mainstage), DMZ night and skreams surprise set with hatcha in mungos hifi was wicked, Plasticians set turned straight moshpit after about 15 minutes same when Coki dropped any banger lol. Really too much to name when the beach party kicked off on the first day the vibes were straight dope people cheering from one end of the beach to the other when anthems like anti war dub got dropped.
Met some awesome people and interesting people (Grand always carrying around about 4 pieces of technology at all times), Jack Sparrow trying to steal my hotdog.
Gotta big ups the insane dust clouds, the grumpy ass bitch in the store that short changed everyone even though they were making bank, all the coma massive that would be found face down in the hay next to the cider bar every night. The worst undercover cops i've ever seen in my life bloody robots all with their brand new bumbags cracked me up big time.
I'm glad I flew all the way from New Zealand for it by far worth ittt!!!
Loving the vibes will def be flying half the world again to go!
Will remember more later lol
