Canadian Dubsteppers

Post by Masocre » Tue Sep 14, 2010 2:34 am

Any of you residing in Toronto or the surrounding area?
If so, can I get a heads up on some venues or weekly / monthly dubstep shows?
I check the Events section every so often and I've never seen a show.

Yo what's up. I live in Saskatoon SK, dubstep nights are so rare, and when they happen they are brostep fests. We have a regular night here though it was god awful...

Ugh.... just what I figured. Hopefully in Toronto there will be some sort of legitimate shows.

I'm actually from Hamilton (currently going to university in Guelph).
I'm just willing to drive an hour+ to get to some shows

But really, there's not a lot in Toronto? From the scenes in BC/Ottawa/Montreal I sort of assumed Toronto would have something, if not better than the aforementioned cities.

If you want to enjoy a good dubstep scene and community. VANCOUVER is your #1. Pack your bags and move! Next is Victoria.

I know Vancouver has a prominent scene but I think a lot of it is filth.

Not so interested in Doctor P but Plasician would be great! Japan is an INSANE tune.

Thanks for the heads up about the shows and Embrace :t:

Crissy Cris is playing at Suba Lounge the night after Plastician on the 18th,

you could make a toronto dubstep weekend of your 1.5hr road trip.

theres also a dubstep weekly going on over 6yrs strong at thymeless 355 college every wednesday

Thymeless must be a wicked venue if it's been going for six years... Thanks for that one.
