Re: Sample ID (Thread?)
Sample ID Thread would be nice!
Re: Sample ID (Thread?)
I thought that as I was typing up the title, it's an idea anyway. I seem to find a fair amount of samples used in commercially released tracks and I bet others know a helluva lot more that would be nice to know.BadBoyBastian3B wrote:Sample ID Thread would be nice!
There is the risk of people rinsing samples from their fave producers and creating more unoriginal material than ever but I think if our hearts are pure and we have faith then we can still move on creatively

The "now for some rocket fuel" sample in that Rocket Fuel track (artist?) on Excision's new Shambhala mix. I'm thinking Back to the Future?
Re: Sample ID (Thread?)
Where abouts in the mix and link?jaydot wrote:The "now for some rocket fuel" sample in that Rocket Fuel track (artist?) on Excision's new Shambhala mix. I'm thinking Back to the Future?
Think this thread will only work if it's made easy as to what we can listen to, if I have to hunt out this mix and listen start to finish to try and figure out what you mean then I'm less likely to do it yaknow?
Re: Sample ID (Thread?)
Yeah soz, It's early on in the mix but:lowpass wrote:Where abouts in the mix and link?jaydot wrote:The "now for some rocket fuel" sample in that Rocket Fuel track (artist?) on Excision's new Shambhala mix. I'm thinking Back to the Future?

Re: Sample ID (Thread?)
Sorry man can't help you on this, only thing I can say is really doesn't sound like a sample from back to the future. Doesn't sound like any of the characters or part of the dialogue from what I remember.jaydot wrote:Yeah soz, It's early on in the mix but:lowpass wrote:Where abouts in the mix and link?jaydot wrote:The "now for some rocket fuel" sample in that Rocket Fuel track (artist?) on Excision's new Shambhala mix.
