I've been really inspired lately by artists who incorporate more "melody" (if you will) into their tunes rather than just explosions and chainsaws. For instance, I'm really enjoying the Chase & Status Remix of "White Lies" and "Set me on Fire" by Pendulum. I know they're kind of mainstream choons, but I'm definitely looking for more. Well the melodies are alright if not good but the bass and drums are shit, I can't think of a good example at th' mo' but there are better ones (I've got a compilation cd with a sick twitchy, skanky organ line but it's got no tracklist on it though )
