West London based producer ‘Data’ has been turning heads with his mature and different approach to modern day Drum and Bass production. Quickly rising through the ranks with a slew of signings, his tracks quickly found their way into many top DJ’s bags including Goldie. Data’s focus on ambience, groove, minimalism and experimentation provides a whole new take on current Drum & Bass.

A fan of technology, Data recalls experimenting with old Casio and Yamaha keyboards bought for him as a child. His Dad’s love of 70’s Rock lead to him following some bands around with a camcorder as a kid and that’s when multimedia began to form in his mind. After being introduced to Drum and Bass through pirate radio stations and friends mixtapes, Data was keen to learn the art of mixing and began his exploration into the scene. Mixing lead to production and hooked up with his close friend Nebulus. Making their first tunes on an Akai 3000 and an old Soundcraft desk (which Data still uses!), it was clear that he had a lot to learn and Data began to slowly piece together his equipment and skill. Playing on several pirate stations around London, Data eventually settled down into his weekend show on Life FM, run by Paul Roast. After playing his regular slot for many years, Data decided to lock himself away in the studio and really see how far he could take his production. Fast forward to 2010 and several releases later on Metalheadz, Critical, and Tempa, Data’s production continue to progress as he prepares for his forthcoming album, Making Simple Things Complex.

D-ON -Milwaukee
(Nanobot Swarm)

The Breakdance Movement of the 80’s is primarily responsible for setting the course of D-ON’s musical career. DJing at clubs soon after high school, and a producer in his own right, he attended a media school during the 90’s to extend his knowledge of recording, music technology, and music business.

With his first vinyl release in 1997, D-ON continues to assemble many bass heavy dance tracks in the studio. This midwest breakbeat pioneer has been a staple of the rave/club/DJ culture since 1995. He has played alongside all the best at 1000+ venues including several midwest radio stations, clubs, raves, and popular music festivals.

Brace yourself for this onslaught of 808 mayhem!

SCREENDOOR -Milwaukee
(Projekt*Niche)
http://www.projektmke.com - http://www.nichemilwaukee.com

Like most midwest techno artists, Screendoor was influenced early on by the sounds emanating from the Chicago-Detroit axis during the warehouse rave scene of the late nineties. With an interest in all sounds electronic from ambient to hardcore, Screendoor's journey style dj sets represent a vast range of influences, today with an emphasis on the sounds coming out of Berlin. As a member of the Milwaukee projekt mke collective, he continues to push the underground sound of techno to the mainstream in the midwest.

Outside of the DJ booth, Screendoor ran one of the last remaining vinyl outposts in Milwaukee and the Midwest, Niche Style / Sound for four years before closing in the spring of '08. He continues to promote events regularly bringing in a variety of international and national talent as a member of the projekt mke collective.

Over his 10 year DJ career, Screendoor has performed alongside old and new school techno artists such as Acid Circus, Adam X, Barem, Bruno Pronsato, Butane, Centrific, Dan Bell, Derek Plaslaiko, DJ ESP Woody McBride, Eidolon, Frankie Vega, Hyperactive, James Patrick, Justin Long, Kyle Geiger, Matthew Dear, Maetrik, Mike Dearborn, Punisher, Ryan Crosson, Safety Scissors, Sassmouth, Seth Troxler, Someone Else and Superpitcher.
