@Jayzest, quite spacious, also really clean. No feedback for this though as it sounds better than i could make, and pretty much a diff style than what i'm accustomed to. More of this k? Thx.

@Kikaruu, epic crazy intro. Could use some warhorns, dramatic cinematic things like that. Make a similar 'phrase' for where you ended, go into a breakdown, do a crazy second drop, and this one is fucking golden. I like how even with the bit at the end, you left some space to fill for bits to come. Keep adding parts dude =]

Reuploaded new versions of both tracks from the last two days just now because they are bugging me. Think i got em both at least in the right direction. Going to hunt for applicable vocal samplage tomorrow, and do some more sculpting. Anything jump out at you guys that i should fix? Thanks for kind words =]

@streetxlite - i'm really digging your tunes, i like how the sounds progress, keep it up :D

@Quasy - the part that kicks in around :47 is neat, but maybe you should try progressing it more, seeing as how it's just your second song though, nice job.

@jaspervc - wow, massive bass, but it remains sort of constant throughout the entire song, maybe vary it up, but i'm loving the bass, so awesome tune.

First post omg. I'd like some feedback on the song in my sig, i've been workin on it for the past two days now, i'm still sort of new to producing and such, but ah well, i'd just like some feedback and maybe tips :D

@streetxlite: (tazertag) Really nice, I like the breaks you chuck in there. However I would keep a sub going through your ambient bit after your initial drop. Also put a little more release time so you don't get that *click* at the end of your sounds.
(warp drive): Also really cool, although your wobbles sound a bit static and quantized if you know what i mean. See if you can give them a little more attack or a bit of glide. (Mainly only the starting wobble, most other bits are spot on.) I would personally also fill out the sub a bit more.
Sick work though! Nice and individual.

@Starmaker: Loving the intro, I would give your atmos effects a whole bunch of reverb to give them space and maybe turn them down a tad.

Then we get to the drop....... yeeeaaah......erm.... sounds like a completely seperate tune! You need to sidechain your bass cause your kick is getting masked like a bitch. Also sounds like you got a bit to much resonance on your lfo, but that might just be me. I would also bear in mind that if your going to DJ it out then you are better off sticking to a 16 bar pattern, rather than doing it the way you do. Bear in mind I'm only saying that from an ease of DJ-ing point of view, use whatever structure you want if your just making tunes for the love.
In summary, really likeing the intro, not so hot on the drop.

@Jaspervc: Good stuff. Drums sound good, might give the snare a bit more oomph with an eq or a compressor or something. Also are you seperating your sub from your midbass? Cause it sounds like your sub is either out of phase or spread across the whole stereo field, that shit wants to be centered.
But really like your mid noise, I might switch up the melody on it a bit more though, you are hacking at that one note quite a lot.

@ EDN

Thanks for the feedback :D I've tried sidechaining once before but it seemed to drown out the bass too much but idk, i'll work with it more, thanks again

and i love your tune btw :D

#Steeple wow!! nice perc and very sweet wobble. gets boring quite fast though. do something about it! :P
#jaspercv haha dope shit man!!! really liked it... but as I commenterd on steeple. too long for such little variaton! bit annoying vocals.rest was perfect.. jizz-wobble :P #streetxlite
tazertag: work on 0:30!!! rest is the definition of perfect... I love your style and itäs variated and (quite) personal. good breaks and drops, the variation in your wobbles is the best of all.... i just love it... so good.
warp driveby: very nice aswelll (though I loved tazertag more! :P). epic melody... you shoould work on the hihats (imo)

Ok here's the deal. Started this project yesterday (Skism - Back Off (superginger remix), and I don't really know how I feel for it... what do you guys think?? should i finish this?? I'm not sure if it's too similar to the original... It's my first remix ever, so I'd love some feedback or tips!!!!!

@jaspervc - pretty sick man, needs some levelling, needs the drums to stand out more, but i love the bass drone and the drop works well (especially the sample), however the bass when it drops definitely needs more weight, add a fat sub under it and make it sound slightly less 'electro' (in my opinion). but good direction.

@steeple - really really feeling it, such a good vibe, the bass works really well, love how minimal it is while still holding together. just finish this basically, and set it me!

@frogman - like the low wobble bass sound but if i'm honest i dont like the harsh midrange one, and the drums need work - the snare needs a bigger sound and it could do with a more complex/original beat. but that's a really strong bassline so it has good potential

@edn - thats sick, love the breaky kit, just keep some little variations going to keep it interesting and you're away

@carsonic- wicked, like the minimal beat and the subtlety of the bassline, however it could do with some EQing to bring it out a bit, it's a little too 'under the surface'. the kick does need levelling/EQing too it's too prominent in the mix. like where it's going towards the end with the new elements being introduced, keep it up

just a little thing i spent about an hour on, fuelled by n64 and smoke.. obviously needs work and stuff, interested to hear what people think bout the vibe, bit different to usual

also any comments on my latest (prettty much) finished track would be appreciated while you're at it

@streetxlite
tazertagis dope bro, you have sick style, i'd really love to collab with you. The only thing i felt the track was lacking was in the sub bass department.
@Steeple
you're track an interesting idea and vibe to it, but i felt that the bass itself was slightly uninteresting, and the sounds and beat did not change enough to keep it interesting.
remember to keep the listener interested, maybe randomly take out a section to mix things up.
superginger
the track was interesting man, i thought the breakdown was fairly tight. I thought the sample choice was excellent, and the atmosphere was great.
the bass itself though, i felt wasn't dirty enough, and there were segments that were slightly softer than the others. i'd def keep working on that track fer sure though.

now my track:
some of you may have noticed, i dislike posting tracks at all, since i don't like when they leave my bedroom.

it is untitled as of this moment.

@C-AveRage: I find it neat that I use that same glass sample. http://www.therecordist.com/free-sfx , eh? Anyway, I like your use of tremolo and how it contributes to the overall dark atmosphere.

@shaneynclan: Oh my. Nice volume variation on that sub, mate. Love that accent crash, too. Honestly, this track is the direction in which I have been heading lately. I think that sample is a bit indistinct, though; I sort of lose track of what he's saying after a while. But... is that sample is from "The Producers"? Nice work, at any rate.

@Neff: Nice, slow variation. I need to work on that myself, really. You aren't using Delta Force, are you for your distortion?

@Steeple: Loving the hollow toms in the beginning. I always find shorter sounds really interesting. I think they could maybe use a bit of spicing up, however. Maybe something like a light flanger? Solid bass, though. The variation at 1:20 comes in well, too.

Now THIS is a song I'm proud of. Someone care to tell me what to improve on?

i would lowpass that fall at 1:07, it's a bit too piercing in the 12khz+ region

@kikaruu: Hectic Flair: Really mean bass sounds on that one, something almost burst my eardrums though and a user above me hits upon it, so sort that out and you have a nice track there

@Neff: Squishy Fishy: Nice track, like the minimal intro but the silence building up to the drop is a little too long, cut it by about a second and it's right on

@jaspervc: Distance: Nice work, particularly like the melodic synth that chimes in the second half of the track, the bassline could do with a little variation though, nice percussion and great snare though.

Soundcloud

Some mixdown issues with that one ^ but that aside I like where it's going... feedback would be great! :)
