Hipsters are a strange breed of scavenger. Picking and choosing parts of other scenes they think will make them look cool whilst simultaneously not understanding and completely missing the point of what it is they've actually latched onto in the first place. Thus coming across as complete tools and feeding a vicious cycle of bellendery.

Nailed it. I've been trying to figure out how to explain what exactly makes a hipster, and I think this is it.

Change the sweatpants for some tracksuit bottoms, grindcore t-shirt for a Henry Llyod or Henleys t-shirt, add socks tucked into their trainers and a burberry cap and yeah, everyone does!
