shitting hell, i knew some people were narrow minded but this is getting silly now. burial makes great music but no doubt, but to dispel all remixes as if they are the work of the Antichrist is a bit dramatic. there are some great remixes of burial tunes, rather than sitting on arse moaning about it i suggest you dig them out.

there's no problem as long as the remix isn't shit, but that often seems to be the case

some remixers have done a good job though so why should his tunes be untouchable?

I think the word is remix- as in a new take on the song, not just putting a half step and a wobble on.

None of the remixes touch the original tracks but the Kode9 remix is big.

Look here guys. A burial remix can be a beautiful thing! There are some great remixes, like the kode 9 one for starters.

And lets not forget this little gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VZG1ANKeGs

Mt Eden should remix every Burial song in my opinion. The way he takes something so beautiful and the removes all emotion is truly the work of a remarkable human being.
