What is top notching ?

Lol, i am english, i just keep seeing it used in a way that someone is referring to some sort of effect, eg im feeling the robo top notch effect ? are the just say the good robo effect or does this mean something more, 4 give me if this sounds dumb.

FYI "top notch", just means well produced. Remember- you have to be top notch in order to be taken down a peg
