reggae dubstep

Post by txmmy » Thu Sep 16, 2010 7:23 pm

hey,
basically this is just a quick check before i even attempt it
but recently ive been trying to compile a reggae and dubstep feel into my mix
and i was just wondering

is there much call for a purely reggae/dubstep mix in the current scene? :?:
"ok man we could totally take this normal route because ive done it before...but...we could go down the risky route..."...
"oh..definate risky route.."

you mean dubstep with reggae vocals and everything or just dubstep with that reggae skank vibe? anyway here's a few

hijak - dally
rusko - jahova
rusko - redeye
clouds - elders
the bug - murder we (pretty much anything by the bug actually)
6blocc - haile selassie

here's one i stumbled over on soundcloud today http://soundcloud.com/grimaceoz/str8-2-ur-head

and here's one on soundcloud i produced :P: http://soundcloud.com/kingghost/king-ghost-thickwan
