Spaceape already explained all this in "Burial: Spaceape".

WE ARE HOSTILE ALIENS. IMMUNE FROM DYING.

It was not hidden from us. We just didn't see it. :o

i wish the CCRU website was still online :|

there was some fascinating stuff on there but it was an incredibly dense read. if any of you read kode9's book then the language on that was easy in comparison heh

was having a read of old threads looking for links and this was the sort of thing that always made me think about burial's image

We are all in danger. This should not be discussed on a public forum. Please everybody grab some tinfoil and make a hat, this is NOT a drill.

pointless is a pretty potent judgment. way too easy to dismiss things that are going over your head as pointless.

If you play one of the Kode9 tracks on Rephlex backwards, you can hear parts of a recorded conversation AFX and Kode9 had outside a radio repair shop in Cornwall. 9 goes into a bit of detail about the Hyperdub label, how it's actually a front for some mystery organisation funded by the Chinese government to engage in experimental activity and research regarding brainwashing and genetic engineering. Andy Jenkinson of Ceephax fame appears about half way through, and on AFX's command, recites the alphabet backwards, belches, then from what I can tell, collapses. Mr. 9 mutters something about South London Boroughs, bestiality and a Roland TR-808. A brief scuffle is heard, followed by a gun shot, then the sound of someone running away.

I'm posting this behind a couple of proxies, but even so, I'm reluctant to explain what I heard any further. Listen for yourself if you want to.

Hyperdub is an anagram of Drub Hype

Drub: Hit or beat (someone) repeatedly.
Hype: Publicise in an exaggerated and often misleading manner.
