i've been messing around with a measure of 1-3, than a measure of 1-4, and alternate the measure of 1 and 4 with a 1-4and

hmmm... having snare on 4 gives more of a jungly, garagey type feel.. useful if you want those vibes, but sometimes i just love heavy, solid rhythm... if i want some 2-step feel i keep my snares mostly on 3 and add some shuffley hats..
