Re: "Improving the production/whole forum" brainstorm
I'm for and against the rep idea. I used to use a forum with a rep system and tbh people use it to their advantage to boost their egos and lick each others arses. Dunno if it'll happen on here, but I'm cool for a simple comment like"Nice track" etc. However, hmm however, crediting posts with a thumbs up like youtube or the facebook "like" button in a way is good, as long as it doesn't show up on people profiles etc. We're all on an equal footing on here in theory, bar the mods and the normal posters. We KNOW there's more helpful posters than others and the regulars appreciate that, but I think a rep system could easily be abused like the guys in chat giving out reputation for a "lolworthy post" etc. IF you made it exclusive to the dubs and the production and the dubstep forum then It may be useful though,
