My restaurant is pretty healthykay wrote:Tofu can be tasty, and not require an expert chef to make tasty. Most tofu you get in the UK is shit though. My only general dislike of purely vegetarian food stems from growing up with vegetarian restaurants overloading the food with oil to compensate for the lack of meat. I probably felt more unhealthy after a vegetarian meal than a 9-course carnivore's delight. Vegetarian restaurants are much better now though.
I don't actually know any in-your-face vegetarians and vegans. Most vegetarians/pescatarians I know became so pretty randomly, they just ended up having less and less meat in their diet.

They opened a couple of vegetarian fast foods down the road, too, which use premade shit and fucking dare to advertise as first self sustainable restaurants. They also dare to say that farming cows for meat is not "green" yet they are using bloody milk and cheese. Anyone who tells me that buying their product makes you a better person (or should I say, better than others?) pisses me off. I'm definitely not gonna set my foot in that place.
