sorry this is a bit confusing to me as I have no idea how this side of the business works
You will still be able to buy smoking sessions releases on 12" as they are being distributed by ST Holdings from now on. not sure about On the Edge

when i approached zaudio for p&d consideration they basically laughed in my face and told me that the tunes i wanted to release were crap/garbage...

they have also never had a real website.... just a myspace page (c'mon really?)

karma...

i feel bad for the labels that had deals with zaudio... lots of good stuff goin on there....hope you guys can find a home soon :-)
theyve had this:

http://www.zaudio.co.uk/biog.php

but that sucks to hear about how you felt they treated you irragardlessly.

(its a word i swear!) lol.

Wow! A sign of the times I guess.

Hope those labels such as Dubsaw, Terminal Dusk, Shift etc. can find quality distro for their vinyl releases.

Steve and I are already in the process of sorting out the situation for Dubsaw. We've got a solid foundation and a solid roster.... we'll be fine.

Z Audio were always good to us, sad to see them go. Wish some of the smaller labels who may have trouble, a bit of luck in their ventures!

We just put out Trill004 last week....
By the time its time for 005, we will be back up with the new and improved distro.
We have been talking to a few people, and are almost ready to make a decision on where we'll take it..

Sad to see them go, but you gotta keep moving.
Trillbass Records will never die. :)

go buy trill004 NOW PLZ.. thanks.

Yea man what a sad case.
Formant Recordings is gone now due to this.
Hopefully something else surfaces distribution wise.

Yea man and this was just a suprise out of the blue to me that they wont be able to continue to release vinyl.
Time to look for more avenues of distribution. :(

I'm biting my tongue.....

A shame indeed to see many quality labels suffer from this.

Instead of fanning the flames though, I will suffice to say this. Z-Audio was mis-managed and disorganized and I know SEVERAL labels and people (including myself) that have had awful experiences with them. Sign of the times or fate?
