Re: grant morrison - disinfo con lecture - magick
blahblah, your posts always make a lot of sense to me, but push my mind further. i really do like reading what you have to say, since you are usually supremely logical.BLAHBLAHJAH wrote:Knell - it's a case of glorifying the obvious. No one needs to state that people are more attracted to positive people than negative people. (THE BASIC FUCKING TRUTHS OF ATTRACTION!!!!!!!!) i.e. your parents split up, you figure out which one is best for getting certain things in life. So many obvious examples: People generally get what they need (i.e. the inner surge to attain stability) - I can always find grass, my horny mate can always find a european bird for a shag. When it's taken to the next levels though, for example, grant morrison (or grant mitchell) cannot use this joke system to do something as simple as regrow their hair. Why is there hair missing? Fast multiplying cells are killed, such as in chemotherapy... Take it from there, perfect LOL of having a baldy lying to people saying they can get what they want, when th reality is he needs their admission fee's to buy a posh wig
that being said, i'm still going to try it. i too would love to denounce something and be cynical as to what it is... because everything you said makes sense. but i wont know for sure until i try. then i can make up my own mind and see if logic prevails. because, yes he does a lot of drugs and some of his experiences may just be psychotic episodes, but he does make a lot of sense.
and said he shaved his head in the 90's, not sure if he talks about chemo later or if you just assumed that bc im only halfway through the video.
still, i prefer healthy debate to everyone accepting everything as fact... i learn much more that way.
so carry on!

also, i HAVE to test his claims, repeatedly and see if its just chance or if its consistent.
just because i have a little cynic in me too, and i trust a comic book writer as much as a sci-fi writer (L. Ron Hubbard, supreme brainwasher

blahblah could not have it any more wrong. not only is he incorrect, but he's a dick about it, meaning i'm infringing on his RELIGIOUS beliefs.
dude is certain he knows how things are, and if magick works, it means EVERYTHING he thinks is completely wrong, which upsets him so he acts like a scared, arrogant fool.

Ayeeee give it a whirl man, just don't use it in a cynical way and never become absorbed in the results. Don't detract from the beauty o' life. Note again, I didn't say it was "complete bullshit" - but it's abnother thing that's just a case of sugar coating obvious patterns in nature and human behaviour.
Parson probably thinks he's magic because back in 1970 his mum got him that banging ABBA album for xmas that he'd been nagging for for years. Ungrateful little turd never simply thought "wow, I got a decent mam that knows what materials make me happy!".
There's far more regular -and perhaps intelligent, less creepy/culty- methods in which to practice this sugar coated sigil stuff though. If you know how people function, you can manipulate... Probably no phrase is more popular than 'playing hard to get' when you consider the blatently obvious aspects. Ya wanna get high for free? Tell your stoner buddies you're thinking of quitting and watch them push so much free biffs your way
"dude is certain he knows how things are, and if magick works, it means EVERYTHING he thinks is completely wrong, which upsets him so he acts like a scared, arrogant fool."
Parson ya wrong again maaaayne! I love learning in life! Absolutely, it's ultimate gratitude. I'm not scared of the unknown, I'm scared of the certain who are clearly distorted and pave a bleak insulting future
Also here's my sigil, fingers crossed someone will finally climb out of the deluded tnuc they're using as a permanent sleeping bag

It's a trap! If parsons calls me tard his scheme fails. If he grows up and quits acting like a dude peeping out of a tnuc, maybe people will start listening
Also hackman don't be a dickhead

Re: grant morrison - disinfo con lecture - magick
Lets face it we are all discussing perception, literally cannot be wrong unless you are lying to yourself.
Like I said, positive thought is beneficial because YOU ARE HAPPY, y'know, most of the time. Religion does this but the journey to positive thought through this sort of belief system is confusing and convoluted for most people (paradoxically the people that need guidance to understand they can just BE happy) and therefore, barely ever works.
tl:dr
cheer up everyone!
also, that Arthur C Clarke quote is awesome, why you think it's breeze alienpimp?

dude, the joke is when you come out with this arrogant drivel, you're just describing yourselfBLAHBLAHJAH wrote:Also here's my sigil, fingers crossed someone will finally climb out of the deluded tnuc they're using as a permanent sleeping bag
i.e. you're projecting your own subconscious worries on to us

Re: grant morrison - disinfo con lecture - magick
pimp liked the quote. he just had to point out that he still doesn't like me.

also it's been proven again and again that happiness improves genetic expression.
happiness improves health from the dna up.
cynicism destroys health in the same way.

(@ cackman) Yeah but you're a fucking nark with no sense of humour, how on earth could you assess that seriously!?
No wonder y'all take it as gospel when some nutter says they spied an alien
once again quit being a dick or I'll come to your shows and pinch your trainers
(don't take that seriously too, I bet your trainers are filled with athletes foot)
"also it's been proven again and again that happiness improves genetic expression.
Obvious stuff is obvious! But is it cyclic in nature? Which comes first
Seriously man start thinking for yassen, quit relying on quoting your podium standing idols. Free thinking can't be squared, but it can be square-rooted!
Anyway bail out, time to do one from this stinking cyber reality
