Where do you get drum kits?

Post by bstndbsta72* »

I'm new at producing and just got Logic Studio 9 so I've been up all night reading the manuel and messing around with what Iv'e gotten through so far.

Basically all I've really gotten to are making the drum kits using Ultrabeat. Im having fun messing around with it but I just got to wondering, do you guys just use the audio content/ jam packs that come with logic or do you download samples. And how exactly do you edit the sounds? Can it all be done in Ultrabeat or am I eventually going to need to get more software?

I'm sure this is probably a noob question that I'll find the answer to soon enough anyways, but I always get ahead of myself when I'm learning new shit so just wondering.
Thanks guys. :t:

This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL
