130 Bpm is the way.
Don't see the point in this. No offence like.
What is there not to see?
I dj anything around dubstep tempo and even double time so I sly in some cheeky ones.
But with production 125-135 bpm I can't get over.
I just meant isn't it weird to create music sounding right at 130, knowing you'll bump it up up 15 bpm when you actually play it out?
I only use vinyl so I've never dj'd my stuff, and I don't think anyone else ever has, so as a song, to listen to, not in a mix, I feel roughly 130 sounds sick.

I usually mix with the pitch fader on +6ish anyways. Always sounds more dancable and vibey at that tempo, does anyone else do this?

I love mixing at 145 but I like to throw some funky into my sets and it's an energy killer to drop the tempo back down. Nothing worse than realising that a tune is too slow and it won't play nice with it's neighbors in the middle of a mix.

When I'm playing dubstep and funky and shit, I play it at 135-137, anything slower and Loefah just starts sounding retarded.
depends on the techno...
i tend to play more in the 130s just because i'm trying to link deep house with dubstep - makes it impossible if it's played at 145

One of the best nights I attended, the DJ (can't remember who, I was well sorted

) slowly upped the tempo from around the 130s into junglist territory. I remember suddenly thinking "waitaminute, when did he switch to drum n bass

"
