Anti Virus for my mac?
Yo,
I just finally took the plunge and bought myself a mac book pro, not for production mind - for my graphics and design work.
anyway, just wondering if anyone can recommend me some decent anti virus for my mac? im so windows i have no idea what software is good for macs....

Virii do exist for mac but with them being a hell of a lot less common I've never bothered with virus software for my mac.

never had antivirus software, 5 years running no viruses. I did however have some PC viruses in my system when i scanned my system with Bitdefender. I can recommend that!

yeah... lack of malicious coders because of the relatively small market share of mac... which makes me think there's not enough of a market for an anti-virus developer to update aggressively enough to actually be effective.

bought a macbook pro a couple of weeks ago too... and I'm using AVAST (which is free)
Edit...sorry it might not be free for a mac. I'd bought the mac & pc version so I could use it on both dual boot partitions.

I use avast on my PC, ill see if I can get a Mac version for free aswell. Would be handy.
