Anyone else feeling it? It's a fluckin funky beat, for sure. I love it. It would make you dance. Does anyone else know anything about kwaito music?
Hyperdub...always one step ahead.

Yeah, I know what you're saying...it does seem a little short, but it works. I reckon 5 or 6 minutes of it would be overkill. It's kind of a hit and run, big impact tune like "Wind It Up".kuklee wrote:Love it...but is it really 3:41 long? and the other tune 2 something?
Sticking it on a 7" or 10" might have been a nice touch. It would have fitted, but I guess that's just not Hyperdubs style.

So I've been hearing. It's just completely passed my radar though. Do you have any recommendations for that style?jackmaster wrote:Tuuuuuune. Kwaito music has been around for years btw.

No thanks. I prefer speakers or headphones for music. It's just not the same watching it.

Love the LV release.
In terms of African house, it's all about this for me.

other than kode9's five 10" releases...? not hyperdubs current style though perhapsChuckledust wrote:Sticking it on a 7" or 10" might have been a nice touch. It would have fitted, but I guess that's just not Hyperdubs style.

massive 12". love it love it love it. format wise i like the extra width for confident manipulation (as the actress said to the bishop)

very true though. i think most of the time it's cheaper to press a proper 12 anyway so a lot of the time it's just for novelty purpose putting things on 10
