Might as well jump in the wagon about MDMA, ex-boyfriends, life, what nots.

I left my family and lived in South Seattle on 23rd and Rainier Ave when I was 15. It's a bit rough there especially with gangs and cliques. Everyone was tough, no doubt. When I started raving, the softer side of my personality started coming out (thanks to electronica music but not really, thanks to jungle/dnb), and I was becoming a girl more than a thug bitch [that can and had punked people]. I used to work in Sam Goody in downtown then moved to Broadway before it closed down. Everything But The Girl's Temperamental was probably one of the albums that I listened to over and over because it fitted the mood of the gloomy Seattle while I rode the Metro to work.


It wasn't a suburb where I lived, it was inner city, projects, jungle hood. I think the lyrics gave this nostalgic concoction of living there as well as having memories of the rich suburbia neighborhood that I used to live [family still does til now].

Esthero's Breath From Another album was pure sex to me. Unfortunately, I have never met anyone who is passionate with the same music as me. Hit or miss.

I don't know how I got around when I was a teenager, and no, not in that way. I mean, I was in everyone's school dance. I was in group pictures, I was in yearbooks of schools that I never attended. If I have to pick one jam from those dances, it has to be this:

Not really sorry about the long post. I had nostalgic moments while writing it.
I nearly forgot about the drugs. For the record, I don't do drugs because of my profession. But I can lie.

Not really this particular track but tracks of it's kind at the time..... It's from when I was about 12, 13 and got my first set of decks, after saving up my pocket money I got some Numark TT10 belt drive badboys and some epic KAM mixer. Started mixing trance because it was easy and it's what my friend mixed so it made sense that we could share our vinyl collections.

While after that, maybe a year or so started hearing Garage stuff and was enticed by the exciting beats in comparison to Trances boring structures. Listening to things like DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, MJ Cole etc etc etc. Started mixing and listening to Garage.

Was into my DnB for a long long time, then I think it was 2006 went to London to a Playaz night at Fabric, and there was this guy called 'Skream' playing this stuff called 'Dubstep' in room 2. Stayed in there all night amazed by this sound I hadn't heard before! Haven't looked back since!

EDIT: Cannot miss a bit of At The Drive in either! Reminds me of beach parties we used to do every week when we were 16-17... epic.
