Well, I very rarely finish anything but thought id share with the dubs club!

Soundcloud

Some deep, hands in the air thing I made at least a year or two ago, but could never quite finish it. I found it again recently, and spent aaaaages tweaking it and playing with it (the production levels were sooo poor, I clearly didnt have a clue what I was doing when I made it lol)

Anyway, im going to have a listen through some others now. Havent really been frequenting the dsf much as a whole recently...

@ Spire - Break is a nuts tune! Works really well though, like...really well! Percussion is wicked all round, and everything about the 8 bit synth lead thing is wicked. Progresses really well, fits with the feel of the track, and adds a wicked little ambience. Nice one man! I dunno if you do this sort o' thing, but would love to get a 320 of this. Going to follow on soundcloud now!

@ matthecradduck - Class tune again. Absoloutely lush pads on this man, with the odd little sample and noise its got an amazingly eyes closed vibe. The little garage rhythm is fucking nice too. Sits really well on the track, doesnt take over at all in such a hushed track. Awwwesome, would also love to get hold of a 320 of this! And appear to have a long night with soundcloud ahead of me at some point. Both those house tracks are top notch as well! Would love to play dangerous if there was a chance of a 320 again!

@ nicenice - proper what it says on the tin business. Cascade dream is bloody wicked! Totally, completely, no holds barred nice. Wicked work with the organ n that, and solid percussion rolling away. Probably just because it reminds me of james blake n co, i keep expecting the beat to be a bit more fucked up...but wicked tune. Would again love to get hold of a 320 if people are keen on these things!

...nice work ninjas :o

the idea of this track is glorious! big up for this.

what i could imagine would slam every club with a massive system, is a sub that hits on every bell... coming from deep down.
can you imagine what i mean... not a bassline like you have it - more like really subby hits that go with every hit of the bell... it would give the track loads of energy.

just an imagination.

also i have the feeling that you have overused the limiter (?) it's all very loud.... except the sub somehow.

but idea is fucking great! let me know by pm if you change anything!

thanks for the input!

yeah the mixdown is horrible!
i'll try to use your ideas and see what i can come up with. i'll let you know about any updates. glad you like the idea!

on another note...soundcloud seems to be pretty unstable lately. anybody else experiencing problems? (like...a lot of tracks show up as "currently not available")

oookay... i've done some pretty wied stuff after attending gig with about 20 other freaks.
it's a duo from lebanon/switzerland - they do experimental stuff. but... really wierd stuff. just... reeeaaally wierd.

anyway - i got some of their material and i jamed around. this is what i've constructed... it's made out of various experimental stuff of theirs, noise and recordings from myself. rythm and bass from myself too.

hope you like this DIY construction...

@Phrex that track is sick man, love the way it builds up and gets tense.I like all those weird instruments in there too, feeling the beat too and the percussion, also whoever done the vocals they're great! Track was a whole trip ahaa! Going to get listened to alot.

Got a new one from myself, only just finished it really, late night early morning business :)
