Ok, keeping things in context...upstateface wrote:Knob
I said I like my synths like I like my women, with knobs, in reference to z3ta not having any vitural or otherwise.
You then noted that you never met a lady with a knob.
Understanding your reference, I noted that I think nipples look more like knobs than penises.
To which another chimed in and noted that he's never seen a nipple that looked like a knob.
At which point I posted pics that clearly stated my reasoning.
And then you posted the above pic that neither cleared your reasoning, nor disqualified mine.

Re: The Big z3ta Thread
I'm always down for some stupid internet fun, but let’s try and keep this thread full of useful information about z3ta. I’m trying to add a post to the production section that actually helps people out and is informative, opposed to the usual shit you see. I don't want it to turn into another garbage thread full of worthless information. I want people to be able to put “z3ta” in the search engine and get a one stop shop for all their z3ta needs.

Re: The Big z3ta Thread
I used to use Z3ta quite a bit. Its quite old now and definitely not one of the 'in' synths everyone seems to mention these days.
Occasionally still use it, i think it is pretty good. Might re-visit it actually.
As for the Virus mod, i've read how to do it a hundred times, installed it but i never seemed to be able to make it sound any different than the normal Z3ta, so i could never work out if it actually did anything different. Is it meant to give you different waveforms? If anyone has got an idiots guide on how to install it and how you know its actually working then please post it up!
The filter is a bit weird. the arpeggiator is sick though, the loads of preset patterns are so much more interesting than most VST's arpeggiators.
Wil check out the presets, all the ones i have are the old ones that are a one stop trance tune!

Whenever I try to install the virus mod with Ableton it just says that the "VST plugin isn't compatible with Live"
anyone else successfully installed it with Ableton 8?
