Babylon System [Roommate + No Thing] (San Fransisco/USA) Dubstep
(Argon / Hollow Point, Requiem Audio, Full Melt, 10 Bag, Mode, Heavy Load)

Babylon System, the California based dubstep outfit, consists of the killer combo of veteran dj/producers: ROOMMATE and NO THING. Since 2006 the two have been setting the world on fire with their aggressive, gangster and reggae infused dancefloor sound. Their releases are all anxiously awaited and their dubs are spun by every big dj in the scene. Tunes like “Examination of Time”, “Loaded”, “Get on up”, and “Hyphy” were instant anthems, selling out from all world wide record shops, with heavy support from giants like; N-type, Plastician, Bassnectar, Noah D, Emalkay, and Skream. Live, they get the party rowdy with quick mixes, diverse track selection, top shelf dubs, and their contagious positive energy. Not only are their legendary sets leaving a huge impression on every major North American city but they’ve turned heads all over Europe, and an Australia/New Zealand tour is their next target. Expect more anthem releases and smashed up dance floors. Watch out, their thick, gangster sound will knock you out!!!

Drumsound & Bassline Smith (UK) Drum'n'Bass
(Technique Recordings, Worldwide Audio, Good Looking Records)

Drumsound (Andrew Wright & Ben Wigget ) alongside long time business partner Simon ‘Bassline’ Smith, are without doubt one of the leading heavyweight dj / production duo’s in the world of drum ’n’ bass… Its sometimes overlooked, but over the last ten years they are one of the few artists ‘ever in drum & bass history’ to have had releases on nearly all of the world’s leading d’n’b labels ranging from the darker pioneering labels like grooveriders 'Prototype recordings' & Adam f & Fresh's 'Breakbeat Kaos' to high quality liquid labels such as: Ltj bukem’s - Good looking records and Fabio's 'Creative source' imprint. Not only are Drumsound / Bassline smith one of the few quality artists versatile enough to make all styles of d’n’b but they are also lucky enough to have a very successful label of their own to showcase their unique spectrum of musical diversity. Technique Recordings. With tunes such as 'Odyssey', Cape fear, Skumbag, Cold Turkey and more recently Everybody Pump it is clear to see why the boys regularly gain support from all major Dj’s across the D’n’b scene as well as achieving regular ‘airtime’ and ‘interviews’ from their fans at BBC radio 1 and the BBC’s urban station ‘1xtra’ from dj’s such as:- Annie mac, Zane Lowe, Crissy cris and of course… The legends… Mr fabio ‘n’ grooverider. Aswell as their never ending studio schedule the boys are consistently touring the planet ripping up the decks alongside the world’s most prolific dj’s & mc’s headlining some of the biggest raves including:- One nation, Accelerated culture, Slammin’ vinyl, Warning, Innovation, World of drum & bass, Raveology amongst others… All of this experience, smashing up dance-floors on the global d’n’b circuit, has not only given them the edge as dj’s but has given them the knowledge and diversity to create their own individual ‘Technique’ sound which is now firmly established in the drum and bass hall of fame… Its easy to see why Drumsound and Bassline’s consistent commitment to quality and musical versatility has kept them at the top of the game for so many years.

Arctic (UK) grime/future garage
(Dub Thugs / Bass Ache / MWA)
http://www.soundcloud.com/arctic
From Birmingham, UK, comes one half of the Gamblers, a heavy weight dubstep/grime collaboration with his brother, Harvest (popular up and coming drum & bass producer). Cranking out tunes on the regular whilst touring Australia, Arctic has been flying between Melbourne & Brisbane for regular sets throughout 2010, whilst bouncing fresh tunes back and forth between Harvest back home in England. Not long after moving to Australia, Arctic became resident for Brisbane crew DubThugs, whom knew full well the potential this kid had on offer.. oh my, there was deliverance. Arctic is part of the driving force that is DubThugs and the Audio Abuse parties, bringing main room dubstep and grime to the forefront of Brisbane’s growing scene.

Throughout the night, Arctic covers all areas which define the English underground - dubstep, grime, funky & future garage. However, it’s the bangers made on his laptop and the fresh tunes sent from back home that will have the crowd covered in sweat and screaming for more ear damage. Expect dubs from both the Gamblers and plenty of his own material, some of which receiving radio play on stations such as rinse fm & sub.fm, also supported by the likes of Crissy Criss, Funtcase, Trolley Snatcha… to name a few. Prepare for an epic array of pure filth, guttah, funky noize and beats, keeping you skankin till the lights come back on at 5:00am… you’ll want to fight the bouncer just so you can hear one more tune!
