Chewie's Hardware samples (rolling thread)

Post by chewie » Wed Oct 20, 2010 4:13 am

Just going through the process of creating sample instruments out of some of my hardware synths using redmatica's autosampler 2.
I have rendered the synths down as 24bit wav files , 6 octaves, 4 velocity levels using an RME fireface 400. Basically the quality's pretty sick hence each instrument is around 60 to 150mb.

Here's the link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?qlg1wwa3n36bf

I have included EXS, Kontakt and Reasons formats.
I'll keep adding instruments as they get done (likely my own patches rather than the original presets)
If you download these let me know that their working ok and are setup alright ;)

I had a look at that and i thought the files might be too big (over 50mb) have you upgraded your server?

Just added a few more bread and butter oscillators for multiband grouping and mangling ( 6 octaves , 1 velocity layer)

cool, thanks, what synths have you recorded so far?
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit.

Just discovered i can do them better having the samples looping ridiculously smooth using the inbuilt penrose machine. Therefore i'll redo em and upload them again naming them V2 and all new ones after will feature this.
Ups!
