'n grai messi indeed!

Or maybe not. Something in my brain doesn't put a Welshman with the face of a carp as player of the year, but he's been fantastic for us, nonetheless.

He's incredible considering he's only 21. AND he's naturally left footed.
Why can't he be english :x

The only Spurs player I would hands down LOVE to see in an Arsenal shirt.

I said it last season when he got his first senior goal that he would become
a phenomenon on the wing...

Always thought he was more Planet Of The Apes than fish-like, but an immense player nonetheless...

Messi is the player of a generation. Bale scored a hattrick after his team were already 4 down and had nothing to play for. Decent player, but let's not get too carried away! That said, England could definitely do with someone like him

Can't see your pic cos i'm at work and for some reason it's banned, but on closer inspection of carps mouths on google images, yes - the man is definately part-carp

Lets hope he doesnt get over-hyped as the greatest player ever and turn into Wayne Rooney.

I do realise that he isnt actually the new Messi. Certainly a talent though.

I agree with Blue Note.

Great player, though. Lol at scoring the same goal three times in the same game. I thought they were just showing replays of the first goal for a second.
