Presume you're talking about the recent Shed interview where he complained about not getting booked for my night and then said I couldn't make techno? Think that was more to do with sour grapes than anything else...
:o I like Shed...top producer. Shame he's a plank.

seems like a right cock

this attitude is on point though, if put in a bit of a cunty way, especially if you change techno to dubstep (or any other grenre really)
Actually, I don’t care what happens to techno right now. When it’s good it’s good, when it’s not, it’s not my thing. I will not “rescue techno” or whatever — I don’t care. I love techno, but I’m not in the position to help or whatever. I don’t care, actually. [laughs]

I don’t like it at all. This SCB. Some dubstep guys can’t make techno music. It’s impossible. And here’s an example. It’s not very good. The same way when house producers want to make dubstep, it’s impossible.
just read this in the interview. i find it not just harsh (everyone can have an opinion about someone else's music). it's just completely wrong to say this somehow. he's determing that a producer can just produce one style. complete rubbish.

mark pritchard - just to name one - does a great variation of music.

I probably find it lame because i'm producing both, dubstep and dubtechno
