LMD SkunkWorks is a new project on Lick My Deck Recordings that will focus on releasing Dubstep, Uk Funky/Garage and futuristic beats.

The first release is by Nocturnal Sunshine aka Maya Jane Coles one half of the band “She Is Danger,” who have already remixed the likes of Massive Attack and Gorillaz.

Both cuts are getting serious support from the likes of Skream, Joy Orbison, Appleblim and Scuba, who placed “Can't Hide the Way I Feel” on his recent Resident Advisor Podcast.

Format : Vinyl & Digital

Release Date : Vinyl - November 2010 / Digital - December 2010

Early feedback from the players :

Skream (Tempa / Tectonic) : Really like it ! Real rolling tracks will play out !

Scuba (Hotflush) : Love this tune, been playing it loads and also used it on my RA podcast earlier this year.

Appleblim (Skull Disco / Apple Pips) : I'm liking the sound of both of these, can u please send so i can test em out !

Brendon Moeller (Echocord / Beatpharmacy) : Wikkid choons! Will likely play both at my gig on saturday : )

Cosmin TRG (Rush Hour / Tempa) : Thanks a lot, wicked tunes !!

George Fitzgerald (Hotflush) : Release sounds great! "Can't Hide The Way I Feel" Nice!!

Philip Sherbourne ( Resident Advisor ) : This sounds really nice... would love the full tracks.
