Got my headphones fixed! :D

Soundcloud

@ninthy4: Nice work; the snare is a bit too intense for me, but then again, you can never have enough snare (while writing this, I've gotten used to it, in fact). :D NICE drop, though. Like how you sampled that vocal clip from Subsonic, too; I actually did the same thing for a song in production right now. Strong bass... varied drums... overall, great job. Are you planning on putting this up for download?

@reignz: That's quite an expressive bass! Love the breakbeat snippets as well. This sounds really solid, mate; sorry to hear that your file crashed. (Speaking of, what DAW do you prefer, and how large was your program file?) Keep it up.

@Trainrek: It's been a while since I've heard dubstep in this vein; dependable wobbles and sparse drums. It's not a bad thing at all; whenever someone asks me for an example of dubstep, it's often a tune like yours that I point to. Nice job. (You've actually inspired me: one day, I'm going to have to remix a remix. Have like 4 names attached to one song. Would be interesting, but probably a little silly, too.)

@dubsax outlaw: Around :44 I expect a stronger progression, but what you've done is okay, too. I like the almost... smooth intensity, if you will. Not what I expected, but it's definitely good to go outside of the norm at times. Great work, especially on that synth line. Reminds me of that one Darude tune, Sandstorm, in it's use of compound intervals. Sweeet tune, mate.

tune i started a few months back but just dug out to revamp and finish, let me know what you think
Soundcloud

also finally finished my mixdown on my tune viaduct, this one should be coming out soonish. let me know what you think
Soundcloud

kikaruu - like the samples, really like the whole intro actually, feels a bit swamped in the main section though cus you've used a lot of reverb, maybe strip some of that away cus the bassline gets a little lost..?

advocate - really nice minimal feel, just beats bass and space, the best way, feeling it man

paravrais - liking what im guessing is the breakdown at the beginning, drop sounds good, not a big fan of that sort of dubstep if i'm honest but it all sounds well produced and interesting so good one!

anAesthetic - not usually a fan of the (as you call it) 'dubstep sometimes connected with more electro-like sounds' (brostep), but your basslines sound well constructed and produced and i found myself humming one when i went for a piss after so props man

a-list - yeah man feeling, wicked intro, nice harmonies, wicked vocal sample (although a little repetitive, could you maybe cut it up more and get some different melodies out of it?) and the sub is really strong. drums get a little lost in the mix but i dont think it actually matters particularly, it's quite nice having them pushed back, but if you were hoping for the beat to stand out you might wanna change the levels a bit. well done man

maxtone - pure vibes from the beginning, really like the toms (808?). really love the way it builds, sometimes feels a bit like it lacks variation (mainly just because the echo chord remains the same throughout) but you do pull it back with arrangement of other parts. really, really feeling this man.

sickozade: likin it but i would lower the level on the crash a wee bit.

really headbangin' halftempo track, but it doesn't feel like there's much of a buildup or drop, like there is a recognizable one but it isn't super prevalent. for a WIP it's soundin awesome though!

@oscarhenson: cheers for the feedback :) i realy like the chilled haunting vibes on 4-21, bass fits nicely with the drums and i like the sound of the flute sorta bit, not so much the melody of it but definately the sound. also love the subtle changes in the snare throughout. nice work.
@Galbm: sounding nice and heavy, some of your mid range could do with a bit more processing i think, just sounds a bit too rough imo. nice use of cymbals though realy gives it tht metal vibe.
@sickozade: nice tune! dark vibes man. think out of anything you need to work on getting your eqing and levels right. sounding good though

heres another new one from huia drums. i know it needs more variation as it progresses, havnt figured out what im gonna do yet though ;)

@oscarhenson
Nice vocal in intro, good sounding stabs! The blend of the kick, percussion and bass goes very well togheter, nice work, keep it up :wink:
@Galbm
Good melo and strings, very nice vocal, I didn't really like that yoy bass, its sounds a bit muddy, but other than that its cool and good sounding :mrgreen:
@sickozade
Intro sounds over compressed, same goes to the mainpart, bass is cool though, pure madness :)
@maxtone
Very sweet intro, mainpart is very dark and evil, great vocal too, nice work brotha

Upping my track again :wink:

@kikaruu(xenocognitos-theme-song) - Interesting vibe and cool sounds. It gets a bit busy at times but sounds good.

@kikaruu(lord ferrus) - I like the musicality of your stuff. Sick tune, but I'd love to hear it with a simpler, punchier beat.

@ninthy4 - woi! sounding sick. Tune should be called 'date rape' because one of the fx samples sounds like it's saying it. The samples you've used are all very nice. Very pro sounding tune.

@oscarhenson - Yeah boi. I love this kinda stuff. No crit really, just a top tune.

@sickozade - Sick tune fella. I think you need to ease the compressor off a bit because certain elements seem to squeeze the rest of the stuff out of the track.

@peggy - Durty music kept nice and interesting - good progression, especially for such a dirty track. Some of the percs sound like shells falling :D . I'd maybe have the kick and snare a touch punchier.

@maxtone (huia-drums-vacant) - instantly put me in a mellow mood and when music serves its purpose it's spot on. Good stuff.

@maxtone (deathwish) - intro has a similar vibe to the other one and has the same effect on me - but then after the drop it gets very naughty. I like.

@Sirius - Cool track, bit cheesy sampling mlk lol :D but real cool vibe on this.

@chewie - Very crisp pro sound, proper got me moving in my chair.

@the dub lemon(law) - Dutty tune, love the switch up in the drums.

@the dub lemon(squirt) - Really like the vibe, nice and mellow but with a rolling beat and a touch of dirt here and there. Thumbs up.

Here's one I made today:

And another I had in this thread recently but didn't get much feedback (thanks for the ones I did get though)

Better do some replying in here...

@kikaruu (xenocognitos): lots of really nice atmospheric stuff going on here, sadly I think they over power the mids in the bass & the drums (specifically the kick drum is pretty lost). All in all really nice tune but I think the mix is where it needs some work.

@ninthy4: Really nice tune man, well made, well mixed, sick sounds, job done!

@kikaruu (lord-ferrus): Nice track again, melodies are right nice, my only concern with this one is maybe the mid bass is a bit wide which kindof makes it lose a bit of definition.

@Grace: Nice deep tune, really like the use of reverb & space

oscarhenson (4-21): Nice man, great balance of drums, sub & melodies.

oscarhenson (Viaduct): Another nice track, really like the drums, not feeling the bass drone tbh but that's just personal taste. Nice vocal chops!

Galbm: Cool intro and nice tune, the vocals when it drops are lost and there seems to be some stereo inbalance, I'd bring those main formant synths to the centre.

sickozade: Nasty tune, sounding good man!

peggy: Nice filthy onslaught, really like the way this tune progresses. While all the parts can be heard clearly I think it could a bit of eqing to remove some muddyness could make a massive difference and improve clarity & definition, particularly eqing out a bit out the bass in the lower mid area somewhere.

maxtone (huia-drums-vacant): Nice tune and really well balanced sounds and the drums roll nicely...sick tune man

maxtone (deathwish): Ooo, like this one better, darker chords and nice knocking/growling bassline, top work here!

@ninthy4: Sounded good the first time round but your pushing your luck with a repost :)

@Sirus: nice track & some what hypnotic

@chewie (Glidetime): Nice track well mixed and sounding great, love the bass at the begining of the bar

@chewie (Joint Forces): Wicked track, sounding really good but personally feel it could do with some air/atmosphere or something in the upper end, kinda like hypassed rides or something just to put something in that space.

@daddy mchectic (i-dont-like-you-either): Great tune, love the vibe one this one sounding sick, I reckon you could pull the sub down a tiny touch though

@daddy mchectic (rastronaut): Another cool track, you definitely make exciting & interesting tracks, only thing I say is that it would be nice to have the snare come out a bit more...a slight boost up the top end of the snare or another more airy snare layered on top...sick tune though!
