If only, trust me, pump a softsynth osc through one of these (bypassing the softsynths own) turn up the drive and you get some of that moogy fatness. ive got a monotron now too, only got thus not had a chance to use on external audio, def a nice filter tho.
If youre well into analogue and can solder, this thing is the sickness;

Oakley filtrex.
Comes as a kit tho
Has two filters you can use to make any sort, LP/HP/BP/BN, plus all pass (phase response).
Also this guy makes more filter pcbs than you can shake a stick at
