@Sickozade: All i can say is, pure filth.

@maxtone: [deathwish] I like the beat and keys are nice. Not too sure about the 'wobble', not really my cup of tea. I do like the little changes tho when you slow it down, like just before the breakdown.

[vacant] Very nice. Especially like the rolling bongos (?) in the back. This got me swaying. In terms of progression, maybe switch up the key/chords a bit in the second half - incorporating some higher notes inbetween what you already have. Sounds great either way as it is.

@ninthy4: Intense intro. Damn man, this is sick. Some sounds could do with being beef'd up a bit more. Good job tho.

@sirius: Deep track. Great use of space. Nice subtle pads and keys. About half way through the track feels too high end heavy - so, could do with the sub doing a bit more to maintain the deep feel.

@dub lemon: [law] Wicked intro. Nice drop. Love the second half. Got my head banging. The different switch ups keep me interested. Strong track.

[squirt] This hits the spot for me. Lovely vibes all round. You got some good song structure. Things keep picking up, to maintain interest, but not too much to ruin the mood. Another top notch track.

@daddy mchectic: [Don't like you either] Good quality mixing. Everything sounds crisp. Maybe could do with a punchier snare, or layer a clap over the top or something. Liking it either way.

[Rastronaut] Very nice groove to this. I agree with dub lemon about the snare needing more snap in the high end. Got some really nice elements in this, especially 1min in.

@Pete Miles: Not really feeling the intro. Drop is good. Beat sounds weak though. I like the melodic vibes to the bass - it's catchy.

@sickozade - I like it but theres 2 min of almost constant sound, pew pew pew, I suggest you put a drop somewhere to spice it up :)

@maxtone - LOVE the intro, cool wobble, it would be cool if made it cross-ballanced, could make it more trippy

@ninthy4 - sickk, I think theres nothing you need to do about this one :D its complete

@the dub lemon - love how you speeded up the 1st one, really nice!

Now me :D

I'm new in production, this is my 3rd project I was happy with, comments?

@bRRRz - Really liking this. nice gritty bass goin on and not too complicated at the same time. the only thing i'd try is adding a short reverb on a send and seeing what it sounds like on the bass. just a bit might add some extra depth.

@daddy mchectic - really liking the direction it took 1 minute in. maybe just adding a few stops and automating a fews bits in there (lfo wave etc.) when the harsher bass drops would do wonders imo. there's a solid number in there though.

@rhek - this is top notch stuff man. solid a rock, really good stuff.

@dubsax outlaw - great stuff here man. loving that lead line, tis the kind of thing i feel i'm lacking myself.

@reignz - that is some menacing stuff right there. the only thing that stuck me was there sounded like alot of reverb on the bass sounds, but thats just my own taste.
i like the little 4x4 bursts too, great fills too btw. good stuff.

@oscarhenson - loving the snare and the use of efx on 4-21. really nice and smooth track. nice atmospheric stuff.

@Galbm - this is class man. great hip hop style lead in there. nice and thick bass too. good job.

@ ninthy4 - bloody epic stuff there man. massive intro. all fuckin mayhem breaks loose then. sick production altogether. right up my street.

@ the dub lemon - wow, that is all.

Here's something i'm trying to finish up. still just fussing over the mixdown and what not. then it's off for mastering.

feedback would be a great help guys, thanks. :D

cheers for all the positive feedback guys, deeply appreciated.
if you're feeling the tracks, please check out the thread on the free digital label/blog 'Clinic' that i've set up with two other producers - both 4.21 and Viaduct will be seeing a release through Clinic in the near future

@ Pete Miles:
Sick intro, brutal drop, great bassline.
The only thing I'd do different is to turn up the snare a bit.

@ snif:
Really nice.
However, I'd add some more variation to the bassline and boost the sub.

@ narrator:
Nice subbass, great drums, sick track! The occasional formant Yoys were really entertaining!

@ ninthy4:
Absolutely sick as always!

@ Grace:
Great vibe, I really like the drums and the shaker.

My tune is still in my sig.
I'd really appreciate further feedback, guys. ;)

@narrator- TBH I don,t think there's enough hell in there for the sample, that's about it... the drums sound really good, the main bit is just kind of flat to me though, it isn't bad... but it wasn't one of those "oh my god sex in my ear" tracks either.

@hypothes- nice track, for this one too I think it sounds really good when it's "in the zone" going fast, the slow bits sound really good too but I think it could do with some more... brutality...

@BRRRz- I like it, I love 1:57-2:04, I wish that part went on for a while longer, good track

Hey guys, I finished this and a friend of mine mixed/mastered it for me. It's a little on the heavy side... Not strictly dubstep (it's at 180bpm), but i figured it was close enough (plus dubstepthatisalittlefasterthanusualforum.com doesn't exist)

@ Zebrakid: Hah i like the shape of your soundcloud :). Decent effort for a first full track.
I'm afraid i'm not really feeling the downsampled/bitcrushed synths, which are the backbone of your tune.
The tune has an industrial vibe, which is a good thing, but it needs more variation. Hard to tell where it's going.
Also, don't be afraid to use more reverb, it's dubstep man! Sounding a bit 2-dimensional atm.
But as i said, for a first full tune, you did well. Keep it up!

@ bRRRz: Typing as i'm listening. Intro is nice and creepy, but too minimal for my taste. Maybe throw in a dark sounding
pad in the background. Bass comes in decent, but could use some reverb. Maybe get a filter on those white noise sweeps as well.
Track sounds a bit empty, try to throw in an instrument/synth or two.
But the track definitely has potential man, keep going!

@ narrator: Damn, nice intro. Loving the pad/synths. Drop is sweet. Surprisingly, i'm digging those
yoy/yay/yey/yuy sounds in your tune. The second drop is dope! Loving those disco stabs!! You should consider
bringing them in earlier in the tune, and maybe make them more prominent.
Overall dope stuff man!

@ ogunslinger: Even though i'm not a pendulum fan, i think u did a good job on the remix. The wobbles are
well compatible with the singing voice. Not much i can say, it isn't exactly up my alley, but the drums sound crisp
and the mix is clean.

My tune, would love some feedback :)

cheers for the feedback guys.

yeh it's definately minimal, was searching for an early breakage vibe on this track. normally make epic layered stuff but fancied a change! simple but effective! working on the mix, pushed the sub a bit harder and evened out a few of the mids.

thanks for listening

@ Pete Miles nice tune man, you've got some good sounds, it can sound a little arhythmic at times though, but I think you get away with it, and really that's not a big problem, I'm just nit picking, bass sounds are pretty slick, and production seems solid.

@ snif It's not bad for a third project, there are some nice synths in there, your build ups are all fine, you went a bit ape shit on that lfo at times but it works, some nice samples too. Keep it up.

@ DjPsychonaut first tune is pretty cool, I hear a lot of standard baroque riffs in there, was that intentional? Nice intelligent writing man, I like it, a step above your usual 'dirty' wobble fest tunes. Nice samples too. Not so keen on the second tune, but it's still a solid piece of work, it's just personal taste I think. Beats and synths are all solid and the production value is spot on.

@ narrator You've got some nice sounds going and everything compliments each other. Nice build ups. 3 mins 4 is awesome. Great sample use. Not really got anything else to say, it's a solid tune, personally, I think the yoi is a little out of place :S but other than that it's sweet man.

@ HYPOTHES When you decide to give some crit we will decide if it is brutal or not.

@ Zebrakid ... I'm kinda thinking "what did I just listen to :S?" It's very odd, but I do like it in a weird kind of way. Some nice big lush pad sounds. I can't help but wonder if this is a collage of accidents that just happened to come out sounding really good or if it was deliberately planned. In the end I guess it doesn't matter. It's very chaotic, but in a good way. Reminds me a little of Kode 9 only it's not shit.

@ resykle...

"I appreciate any and all comments :D" that's good, read page 1.

@ ogunslinger tbh all the pendulum in this tune kinda ruins it, lose that shit :P it'd be much better without it. Just kidding, it's a solid remix man, nice work. Kinda pissed at you for making me listen to pendulum but other than that this is a good piece of work. Nice build ups and drops, some cool unexpected sounds. Nice bass sounds and melodies too. Second tune is solid too man, same thing, nice sounds, solid production, well arranged, nice movement. Nothing really bad to say at all.

@ TRaffikz for some reason I'm getting prodigy vibes off this :S not sure why. Cool tune anyway.

Soundcloud A Drum & Bass tune I've been working on. I don't expect much feedback given that this isn't dubstep, but I thought I'd throw it up here anyway and see what you guys thought.

Cheers for the feedback dude, yeah the baroque riffs flourishing between the octaves was partly intentional. Was just looking for a really dark jumpy melody.
& I sort of agree on the second tune, not 100% on the mastering either, doesn't sound as good next to a pro released tune.

safe, cheers

@JayZest - Like the tribal vibes you've got going on in this tune and I'm definitely feeling the heavy sub - some really nice dub characteristics too! I'm feeling this one bro! good work.

@Advocate - loving the beats in this one bro! really deep and melodic! Keep it up!

@Kaiori Breathe - not heard any drum and bass tunes from you before but this one is, as always, a fucking immense beautiful tune. Love everything about it! 320's? haha.

Here's mine - it's a bit of an electro/disco/fidget number -
