Whatever floats your boat mate. I won't be shitting it hiding inside my house quite yet though, seeing as how you don't know what I look like and I don't know what you look like. I don't bop around with a light sabre and a cloak, soooo good luck!

nah cos it's gonna wind up gettin locked in a minute. :(

there's more than one person gettin baity in here - if you haven't got anything positive to add then please don't bother.
ok then, i'd like to see what ppl think about the success of fwd>> and how this might affect how d-s production progresses in the future. interesting to see that n-type promised a more varied selection in his early fwd set because he wouldn't be playing in the later, 'party' slot, where he seemed to be saying he'd be restricted to LFO bangers to pls the gen dancefloor.

time was when abt 5 ppl went to fwd and the dj could push boundaries all over - no dancefloor to pls, no fri night to keep going etc etc. new producers, of which there are many, may well show up to fwd and just hear the partaaay sets - their productions will be influenced by what they hear as dubstep now - lfo, wobble, drop and so on.

the tendency of fwd to book only a small number of rotating djs - no slt, no S&D, no-one not 'established' - seems to be reinforcing a certain version of dubstep. not to hate - fwd is successful and this is a good thing - but i'd like to see more adventure, in terms of both bookings from ammo and the headline sets from djs who play them. thoughts?

Lets just squash it then because I believe in six degrees of separation, and I don't want people copying all the good tunes so the music turns shit either, that wasn't the point, it was that no-one disagreed with you and you leapt down their throats.

I think what we need here is an injection of steroids. Not enough testosterone for my liking.

Bruv your the only one spitting your dummy out. Relax, you got beats, dont alienate yourself from a potential audience. Let the music do the talking.

interesting. I speak as someone who hasn't been to FWD in about 2-3 years (apart from The End party last summer). I ONLY went when it was a monthly Thursday ting, and the entire scene was chattin in the bar while 20 peeps were on the dancefloor. This new weekly Friday ramout ting is totally alien to me.

With regards to the bookings made by FWD - at the end of the day I feel it's up to a promoter who gets booked, and even if you're the flagship nite for a burgeoning scene you should feel no pressure to book anyone ither than the acts you like/feel. SLT used to be residents don't forget, and I know S&D have played at least once. Also, Appleblim, Headhunter, Caspa, Distinx, Pinch, have all repped recently if you want new names.

There was a massive thread on the old dubplate.net forum years back about how 'breaky' wasn't repped at FWD, peeps demanding to know when Vex'd or Hot Flush would get their debut set. Peeps were gettin proper wound up about it, but like I say, it's not FWD's responsibility to book DJs that other people think they should. IMO.
