@Lordbid
I think I already commented on that one in the WIP thread,but anyway I'll comment it again,I really like the intro,and the sub with the bend,it's really nice..and when it drops,I'm not sure if it was intended but it really sounds Excision/Datsik(and I love them) so yeah,great track big ups!Only complaint I could say,That kick sound really weak,maybe layer it with a beefier kick!
@ Leomonroe
The fourth kind:That intro is sick,really fits well together,but I don't think the drop really fits..with that intro I would have gone for a more subbier type of tune,but that's just me!
Facehugger:Now you're talking! Sick ambience,nice drums,lush sub,really like it man,good job!
@Kievccs
Wow,right my kind of dubstep,got that garage feel!Also the sub sounds really lush and empowers the tune,great job man I love it,would love the 320!
@Quasy
The tip on uploading on youtube is....DON'T UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE! -w-
But all jokes aside,I like your tune man,got some nice atmospherics,but i was really dissapointed with "the drop" if we can call it like that,I just feel like it misses some punch,like your waiting all the song for something that never comes up,you had the good way with that sub,but that wobble sound is really cheesy,dosen't fit at all,and sound like everyother generic wobble,keep working on it..I think you have the good idea!
@soosh21
That first tune is sick,very Burial-esque,nothing else to say,good job!
Pretty much the same about that second one,don't know much you could change..

Ok so here's mine,It's a sub blaster,with percs and shit,pretty straight up dubstep,
Not completely finished,but more near a final version than a WIP so I'd love to get feedback!
(Ps: sorry about the bad grammar/syntax,I speak french normally haha)

@NRHc - nice tune, feeling the vibe. maybe a wee boost between 50-70hz would help the bass boom
@Quasy - i really like the tune but hate it as soon as that wobble comes in, i think if you maybe did a key change and added some female vox it would be a minimalisting stomper!
heres my track

@Quasy - Youtube... no embed? I really like this intro...very nice and dark and the bells sound really nice. The drop was well... rather a short fall. I was kinda waiting for it to hit me. The bass sounds pretty clean but sounds a little wimpy. My 2 cents would be to fatten it up a bit (more sub?). At 2:30 the levels do some kind of weird drop and the 2nd drop stays at those levels... hmm. Overall nice tune. Just fatten it up :) I'm also diggin the violin. very nice.

@ HYPOTHES - Sick samples. I love those death related samples. Drop was pretty sick. Sounds almost like a machine gun firing at zombies. The bitcrushed brostep sounds a bit too clean to me. I think some shakers and more hats would fill in the spaces. Maybe try it out. Pads are great. 2nd drop really had me.

@ jsaxton - Interesting sample mate. Very lucid and psychedellic like. Drop was very nice. I love the sub heavy but not overpowering. Drums are killer - nice work on those. I love this chill type of dubstep compared to your average brostep. I think the pad levels are a bit high though. Might wanna check that.

Well I figured I might as well drop my tune in here. I'm still learning as a producer (on and off about 5months ish - been kinda busy with uni and work) but lemme know what you guys think and how I could improve. Also, I tried as best I could to mix this without monitors (well be getting some soon). Thanks for taking the time to listen to my track :) also, please tear this apart. Thanks. haha.

Alright, thanks for some of the feedback on my two tracks.....appreciated. Ill give some feedback to some folk now, im not so much into straight up dubstep anymore but will say bits i like and dont like from a production point of view. Not that im any expert, im crap at mastering, puts me off finishing many a tune!

okay doke...
@NRHC- nice tune and atmosphere, only thing i would say is maybe put a more solid bass or synth further along the track for a wee bit more bite, maybe more sub as well....liked the percussion!

@debaasser- like the opening before the big drop, nice delay reverb going on. As for the track the bassline got a little repetitve i feel, but i think played out people would dance hard! Maybe mix the synths up a bit.

@lordbird- very heavy track, whilst im not hugely into heavy dirt dubstep this one bangs....like all the changes keep it interesting.

@quasy- liked this track, relaxing, melancholy and a decent beat. think some of the percussive elements could have been louder, but not playing my monitors loud cos its late! crazy vid...tripppy indeed.

@kievsccs- like the techno kinda step going on or whatever you call it. maybe a random nice sample could add something..good tune. Just listened to your imaginary day track liking that one the most. great synths and feel to it.

cheers folks.

@NRHc - well I think your hi-hats are too obviously panned although im sure others would argue with me on that. I think your kick could use more upper level frequencies to help it stand out against the sub. This song also does not have enough progression I felt like I was listening to a 4 bar loop over and over again with a breakdown. Could really use some variation to help keep listener interest. I think overall its pretty minimal which isn't a bad thing but it could use more I think. That said, I like what is going on, and the mix-down is pretty solid with maybe the sub a little over-present in the mix. Nice snare.

@swoosh 21 - cool percussion noises for sure. This tune is pretty weird overall hah reminds me of flylo a little bit. Got some great mood in this one. I almost think your snare thing doesn't Tye in enough, but its not really a big deal. great ambience overall. Def some great easy listening. I don't have much else to say.

@Rook - well its pretty gnarly. Could really sue more variation in the drums, although that is a great loop. Snare needs to go up a little in the mix or be more clear. I think it would all be more clear if the midrange was turned down a little bit and the sub its all a little to large right now.

Looking for ways to improve this one as not quite convinced just yet but think there's a lot of potential. Went for a sort of post-garage / future-garage / ambient garage vibe. Not sure how it comes across. Need as much instructive feedback as possible of things to do to turn this one into a killer.

Mate just listened to your track on your site!!! This is a proper amazing tune....was very suprised, the whole tune is there already it just needs a tiny bit more mastering as some bits got a wee bit muddy....but hey i like that hazy aethetic, proper chilled, intresting, your drums and percussion are dead on. Maybe the intro after 20-30 seconds id put a wee tuned down clave or something to give it a little bump before the beat acutally kicks in. Maybe even in your breakdown hit a mount kimbie esque hiphop part.....if that makes sense before taking it back up. Im def going to play this out! This will be a big tune, no doubt!

@soosh21 cheers boss. I see what you mean about the intro. i've been having a lot of trouble with sequencing that part as it seems to just come in from nowhere. wanted to make it more of a gradual slip in. will have a go with some claves and see what happens. mastering is definitely a need be too. it's always been my biggest weakness. i'll have a go this wknd.

@ Jeffbass - Digging intro. But think sub is a little too loud. Like the vocal sample man, sounds good, drums sit in there well with that! Good shit!

@ NRHc - 8 secs in and already like the sound of that pad. Has a dark feel yet nice and relaxing. Drums sound dope, esp those hats! Those knocks in the backround, are awesome, i think you could even lower the volume on them a bit, give it that much more depth, like have to listen hard to get them, shit is ace!

@ jsaxton - Nice dude. I think the bass may be a little over powering, just muffles out your little hats. Synth sounds cool!!

@ therook - Like the drop man. But i think that drop needs a build to it. That intro would be sweet with a real subby tune. Split the song, and make 2 songs :D. My opinion though. Apart from that nice.

@ soosh21 - Nice and different bro. Cool little whitenoise stuff in there. Listening to this for some reason i'm picturing real old school tv in black and white LOL. Digging it though, nice and relaxing, got depth!

Another finished one from me guys.

Gone extremely mellow on this one, lots of melodys once again. Sleepy time track lol.

This stuff is actually really good. Had a look at your soundcloud. You should get out there and start making more tunes. I know some people up North who would lap up this shit.

@Quasy: Gorgeous intro. Some really lovely atmospheres. Not too kean on the wobble that comes in half way - bit too resonant for me.

@NRHc: Not a bad track. Sub really needs some more harmonics to it. It just feels a bit too empty at the moment.

@jsaxton: Really like the vocals. Need to work on the levels though. The beat gets a bit swamped by the pads at times. Good use of percussion.

@Hypthes: Doesn't really do much for me, to be honest. Main bass and drums are weak. I like the samples and pads.

@therook: [fireman] Mean track. Over compressed though - feels flat. I like the layered sound. There's a lot going on, so could do with some heavy eq'ing to bring out each element without sounding messy.

@soosh: [bramhall-waits]: Loving the chilled, downtempo vibe. A real delicate sound. Great sample use. Could do with a constrasting section though - it got a bit tedious by half way.

@LordBid: Great groove going on. Drums are a bit weak though - could do with more cymbals to provide added energy. Loving the bassline. Got me moving for sure.

@jeff bass: Quality track. Could really do with fixing up the levels, big time. The pads are way too muddy, they sapping the energy of the sub. The mid of drums needs to be brought up. All the elements and grooves are great, just needs to be tidied up.

@Bradicle: Not bad. Personally, it's a bit too 'cheesy' for my liking. Well made, but just doesn't float my boat.

@theone1_: Love this progressive, deep sound. Turned my speakers right up. Good mixdown. Head nodding throughout. Kept me interested with new elements coming and going and subtle use of automation.

If anyone would like to provide me with some feedback, please go ahead and check out the track Deadlines in my sig - if you like it, there's a 320kbps mp3 available to download on the sc too.
